Am I missing something here? BMU have 4/5 a first time winner for the Masters. Taking the prices of any past winner less than 1000-1 and backing them plus backing the 4/5 seems to be a 93% book?
as 17 5.9
bw 67 1.5
cs 34 2.9
pm 15 6.7
ac 81 1.2
ti 200 0.5
zj 41 2.4
tw 6.5 15.4
vs 300 0.3
1st 1.8 55.6
92.4
Surely a max bet? (unless I'm missing something obv)
No love for this?
We'd have a goodly % of the field on our side!
I am not sure what it is saying? there are only 9 former winners in this years field?
p.s more people giving feedback would be great. Might have laid Liverpool or been Villa +2 (possibly) with feedback!
If there are only nine former winners in the field then I love it.
I also laid Liverpool and backed Villa but then I do all your bets.
Can I suggest Tighty's selections have auto bet status ?
I'm off to work in 10 minutes, but I did want to answer that one first.
He does have auto-bet status already, but (working from memory) this was a "thinking out loud/looking for opinions & feedback" thing. (Villa v Liverpool).
There was no feedback that I can recall from football experts or Elders, (apologies if I missed it) so I bumped it 2 days later, ditto ditto.
In truth, all that happened was Fred never got on, but many people did, including me, though I just went for the win, & so I lost.
Well done on the Ladbrokes coup. Will you be taking cake with you when you collect?

Same. But interested to know what guys are expected to return from a 3-1 scoreline and would it get near surpassing their outlay if they did do 100 markets?
I am a little confused by it, so don't bit my head off for idiocy. I know it obviously depends on what you bet on, on which market, but what are people looking back on their outlay discarding their free bets, for arguments sake?

I booked Laddies....was chatting to a mate at 76 mins saying they at least have a semi decent trader who's designed the offer, obviously -ev to them, however huge volume increase, give yourself a chance, Man Utd terrible blah blah blah.
Be interesting to see how it pans out.....they'll honour I think although the shop angle could be interesting.

Chelsea 3-1
Chelsea H T-FT
BTTS
Red Card
Eto'o in the top three of the FGoal market
all would have seen punters on them
several hundred shops, all would have seen x extra customers betting £25 a pop on y markets..and they refund every loser?
Must be a loser of an offer as it turns out
Obv if United don't score they see a significant volume uplift
Ladbrokes results in a few weeks will be fun for the under rpessure Chief Exec.

How much do we think this cost Ladbrokes?
I'm going to guess £10 million.
But it really could be a load more.
I have no clue.

I've no idea, but that would be more than they lost on the Football last weekend & midweek, imo.

Anyone that specifically had a bet with ladbrokes because of the offer and thought Chelsea 3-1 or both teams to score was a good way to go about it should be allowed to place bets for the rest of their life's.

Both teams to score was excluded from the offer if I remember correctly.

1-0 and 2-0 were arbs all day today.
I guess 3-1 must have been close to being an arb.
