Arizona played last night we were at home to California who ended our unbeaten start a few weeks back so you would expect a close game right? nah 87 -59 Arizona in what coach miller described as one of the best games we have played all year it seems as though they have found a good rotation again after Brandon Ashley's broken foot, starting the steadier gabe york and having Hollis jefferson coming off the bench as an impact sub seems to have been working well. top scorer in the game was Nick Johnson again with 22 pts who i found out is the nephew of this guy
and the son of this guy
the top picture is of course Dennis Johnson 5 time all star and one time finals MVP and recipient of the most famous steal and pass in nba history and probably my favourite bit of sports announcing ever
the second picture is of jumpin joey johnson who held the world record for dunking on a hoop 11'7" high! some pedigree the kid eh.

Anybody catch Donny ressies last night?
Heard Louis Tomlinson looked promising for all his passing was a bit predictable.
Infact it was all in one direction.....

Morning Mr T.
Our tennis bods did OK. Dimitrov is through to the 1/4 final tonight and plays Gulbis, who was my other fancy for the tournament, and some jet lag would be rather nice to see.
Berdych, who you slept and missed but someone else may have gone for, is through to the 1/4 final at lunchtime today and plays Tsonga.
I would like to suggest a bet on Ramos to beat Monaco this afternoon at the Sao Paulo event. He should be favourite I think but it is almost priced as a coin flip. He has a 3-0 winning record against him, including a win this year. Only a teeny bet considering the price but if he wins then we may have another later on as Murray looks vulnerable again.
Suggest Ramos £20 @ evs Bet Fred, Boyle, Hills.

I'm seeing Russ tonight Horsie.
Basically a guy that was the trading director left when they split up the business selling most to Hills who wanted the Aussie business. The rest of the company is owned by a venture capital company and runs from Moorgate. They are really not interested in ever laying a horse bet prior to 11am, but they are certainly not going to be totally trigger happy with restricting people who they feel give them "fair" action. They understand that people use oddschecker and like to play when they are best price but they don't like it when the guy simply waits until the price has crashed elsewhere and they are last to spot it.
They gave me examples of people betting in £500 to £1000 winning 6-figures who had 15 bets a week. Basically as long as they think they weren't cheated, the guy wasn't arbing and they had a chance they won't restrict too quickly.
Having said that they haven't become Channing and Shallow Bookmakers (ltd) overnight.
drop me a PM with your username and I'll ask Russ to look at it (and anyone else who feels they might be ok).
I was on 10% and now I'm on 50%. It's better than a lot of firms.

and in order to pay for the offer they have now made half the field in the race bottom price on oddschecker.
http://www.oddschecker.com/cheltenham-festival/supreme-novices-hurdle/winner
Suppose there has to be a bit of give and take for them to do the offer, here's the t and c's
Cheltenham Money-Back Special
We will refund stakes on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed horses in the Supreme Novices Hurdle!
Applies to 13:30 at Cheltenham on March 11th.
Applies to 'Win or Each Way' market only. Applies to Win part of Each Way bets only
Applies to singles only.
Maximum refund £/€50 per customer.
Does not include tote bets or in-running bets.
Applies to bets placed from 8pm on February 26th.
Paddy Power horse racing rules apply.
Paddy Power reserves the right in its discretion to exclude and/or limit the availability of the offer to certain customers.
They are also NRNB, although they have gone 9/4 surely Irving is the bet for those that can? Thoughts?
Yes, even at 9/4 Irving is by far the best bet for this offer.
I wish to retract that. This is a little more complex than the standard refund if offers. I'll take a look at it later.

Just got the manager at Ladbrokes to talk to the traders about the Nathan Lyon bet which is suspended at the moment. The bet should be available again in 10 mins.

It is a no brainer, it is better than the standard free bet on 2nd. I have pretty much said as much already.
You get slightly lower odds but money back on 2nd, 3rd and 4th. The maths is just going to be so compelling I really don't need to do it. Obviously don't go over the £50 limit.
The only problem Tikay is going to have is if he is so restricted and/or doesn't get the offer. They restricted me a bit, so guess they'll give Tikay £15 or so. Paddy Power seem to really hammer me on some of their offers, but weren't so bad here.

Thanks, & well done Lisa.
Ladbrokes have now reinstated that Market, with Nathan Lyon @ 4/1, & the EW odds are now ONE FIFTH, 1,2,3.
They won't allow me any though, I got my Max (£20 WIN @ 5/1) yesterday.
The new Market is here.....

Mr Power allowed me £18.30, so for the sake of nice round numbers, we bet £18.
Not sure who owns this? (Offer?)
We have £18 @ 9/4, Irvine, Supreme Novices Hurdle, Chelters, Paddy Power, Non Runner Money Back, Stake Refunded if we finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

Morning hector, & thanks.
Shame I missed Berdych, & I see he is 4/9 to win his match today.
Djokovic, meanwhile, is 1/19 (!) to win today. I interviewed his Coach last week, who is a retired tennis chap. Just saying, like....
We have £20 @ Evens, BetFred, Ramos to beat Monaco.
Bet placed, its reference is 277/298
Bet ref: 277/298 £20.00 Single
Monaco, J v Ramos, A
Match Result
Ramos, A

PP allowed me £36.60 on Irving, way more than I thought they would, but I'm just wondering if having previously told both tikay and myself that we were no longer going to receive any of their special offers they may just treat that as a regular bet and settle it as loser should it only get placed.
