Like pulling teeth

Is there any good value around?

Shots behind vs price, probably Rose and Furyk,

Seems good to me, quarter first 3 neither bet seems terrible to me.  Sure Fowler can make sense in some ways too.

I really don't think we need to force it and there is absolutely no need for the pulling teeth comment.  I have as much right to give my views on saving as others, particularly when it is my bet that it is getting saved. The language just looks like needless provocation to me.  If we were win only we could maybe justify it more, but as we are getting place money most of the time I don't think we should be trying to save.  We can bet Fowler, Blixt, Rose, Furyk etc and just end up making our position worse.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Did Fred do the 'top debutant' with BMU pre tourney, Rich?

If so, that covers Blixt  @ 12/1

BetVictor   April-2014   Golf   US Masters   1st time winner   4/5   100
BetVictor   April-2014   Golf   US Masters   1st time winner   8/11   110

offset by

betvictor   13-Apr   golf   US Masters former winner   3/1   75

Do you mean "debutant winner" Marky?

Don't think that was taken up by Fred

Yes, that's the one I meant, thanks.

Would have been a brucie for Fred when Spieth wins!

No luck for Phinney, punctured on a crucial cobbled section in the final kms. Add red  Sad

Fine lines these top scorer markets.

Had Joe Garner played yesterday against a not-up-for-it Carlisle, he'd probably have got two or three, but his wife went into labour.

VC go 5/2 each of three now, each-way 1/3 1, 2.
