If u haven't got an 888 account their World Cup offer is Messi top scorer 20-1 and you still get the £88 in free bets, cracking offer from what I can see. Get the partners to open accounts and load up.

Edit t and c's £10 max. :-(

Free bets seems a painful process. 7 x £10, then 1 x £18 after you've placed eight bets or some such. Don't know if this is stdd for free bet shiz, but looks like a lot of hassle.

Mr Sherwood has been encouraged to expand his CV by pursuing other employment opportunities.

"Stick one on it!" Are slow to react. 6/4 next Brighton Boss while others 4/11.
Surely he'll get  prem job, albeit at a club that doesn't think that they're better thn 6th best in the league. Not sure why he's so short at brighton, he was offered al sorts of championship jobs in the past and turned them down

Maybe, however if I was an up and coming manager I would rather take the Brighton job than say WBA, which is the most likely option.   Southampton would be better obv, however have a sneaky feeling they may go down the Eddie Howe route - however what other options are likely to emerge unless he waits until in play next year? Ashley has committed to Pardew, I think most others are safe at the moment

Brighton is a big club imo with massive potential and a great set up

Darcy Ward to win the World Speedway Grand Prix Championship.

Darcy is the current wonderkid of the sport - in his first Grand Prix season last year he missed a third of the races due to injury, and rode 3 Grand prix's injured, but still managed to finish 8th only (circa 15 points for a win) 45 points from the winner.

Darcy has improved his support team and cut down the number of weekly rides around Europe to focus on the Grand Prix series - still a risk taking any one in a long term speedway market as they race insane amount, and get hurt often, but he has the best machines underneath him and a huge amount of talent.  If he can keep it upright he should be there or there abouts.  Last years champ Woffinden profitted from Darcy and Chris Holder being injured, and Holder champ from 2012 missed most of last season with injury and is still in recovery mode from several bone breaks - neither are as talented as Ward.

Darcy is 6/1 with VC compared with 5/2 - 3/1 at most other highstreet firms - and 5/1 on the Exchange with very little liquidity.

£10 with VC @ 6/1?

Wow, at those prices, has to be a bet, thank you.

We are on, exactly as directed.

How is your pride and joy these days? 6 months old? 9 months, maybe?

I think that's my first bet that's got through on here woop! Well and assigned to me had some stolen not gonna name names, you know who you are Wink

Where has the tipsters sheet gone from the spreadsheet? A reason for that going?

The Tipsters Column is still there, but it is set to "Locked"/"private". Best that way, avoids people perhaps feeling uncomfortable, especially due to sample size & the like.

We don't really want anyone to have fun poked at them.

Thanks for the acceptance, my first toe dipped into Fred as it were.

Anya is now 18 months and still seems to change daily - just this week she has moved from single word responses to 2 and 3 word responses, just like that.  Her ability to understand and learn truly is fascinating (nothing out of the ordinary, but I have never paid attention to these things before with other peoples children).

Her latest fascination is playing cards so she is on the right road, the golf swing needs some work but her grip is good Wink
I am sure she will be fleecing the visiting Dereham poker community before too long.

On the Hart bet.  Even if we assume that our roll is 6k then 800 would be too much to bet.  Using full Kelly staking if we assume that it is a true 1/50 shot then at 1/8 we should only be staking just over 600 quid.  Given we would also be taking a decent chunk of the roll out of action for a month or so then less than that is probably still the optimal amount.  There is always a temptation to have more on these short priced certainties but in EV terms they are just like any other bet and should be staked accordingly.  I think it helps if you think of bets in terms of the EV you are taking from them so in this spot if we assume he is a true 1/50 shot (98%) and we are getting 1/8 then it is 98*1.125 or 110.25% so on a 200 quid bet we would be making 20 quid which is pretty much the same as if we got 9/1 about a true 8/1 shot.
