Daily Report

Loss on Month -£142.36

Outstanding Bets £2423.20

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=27

A loss of £113 yesterday

The sole winner was £6, from Andy Power 3rd each way at 9-1 in Fishomania. Here is the man himself

though he was behind the biggest fish i noticed that was caught yesterday. A 482lb halibut caught in Alaska.

losers

- Fognini lost 4 and 3 to Agut in the semi finals of ATP Mercedes -£20

- Alcoba lost in the boxing -£15

- Mr Wrighting finished 4th in fishomania -£10

- Barnet fair -£20

- Great Hall -£20

- Starboard -£20

- Slagter and Dumoulin in stage 8 TdF -£15

ongoing positions

- A record 10th wicket partnership in tests swung the first test away from India, and there is an outside possibility of a result today. Looking dismal outside, and a couple of quick wickets might make it interesting

- Pujara got in again, 55 this time, and unusually for him got out when set for the second time in the match

-  the T20 Essex marmalised Kent with a 55 ball century from Tom Westley with 10 fours and six sixes, which took Essex through to the quarter-finals with two games to spare. We have £20 e/w at 12-1

in the TdF another day in the Vosges mountains awaits after abreakaway win yesterday and Contador firing a few shots across Nibali's bows with Valverde hanging on behind

- In the golf Mr Jaidee has rarely threatened this week in three rounds of 71,71,73 to be +2 with a round to go

- In baseball the Yankees beat the Orioles 3-0 and the Tigers beat the Royals 5-

- Van Persie scored for the Dutch last night, which takes him into a tie for 3rd in the golden boot and ensures that if Neymar clings on to an each-way place, he'll be dead-heated

tonight

and our positions running into the game

football   World Cup Golden boot   Neymar   14/1   40   £20 e/w 1/4 1,2,3,4
football   Whoscored Highest Rated Player Of The Tournament   Messi   10/1   5
football   world cup   argentina   4/1   100      £50 e/w 1/2 1,2
football   World Cup golden boot   James   4/1   25
football   World Cup golden boot   James   1.7   50
football   World Cup golden boot   James   1.65   55

and the golden boot...

Players
James RODRIGUEZ   6
Thomas MUELLER   5
NEYMAR   4
Lionel MESSI   4
Robin VAN PERSIE   4
----------------
Andre SCHUERRLE   3

so we do not want Muller, Messi or Schurrle goals. Not too much to ask is it? 0-0 after 120 mins and Argentina win on pens?

quiz. next to the shy and retiring paddy power, whose family's Slade Power won the July cup yesterday, who is it? Rumours that the gentleman is looking happy because Paddy laid him a bet remain unfounded

finally it was the British GP speedway last night

how are we doing with this bet?

speedway   World Speedway Grand Prix Championship.   Darcy Ward    6/1   10

how are we also doing with this one? i note there was chatter of big GAA action yesterday

Munster Senior Football Championship   Cork   11/10   22.7
Munster Senior Football Championship   Cork   10/11   22

Be kind on a Sunday morning, looking for feedback - trying to learn...

Been looking at 4.30 Sligo 10 runner h.cap hurdle, Good to Firm, Good in places.

Of top 6 in betting:

Snoqualmie Chief -  appears to want soft ground, forecast showing dry for rest of day
Mojito Royale -  won last time, but hasn't been able to string together decent performances in the past
The Black Russian - likely to need the run after a break , appears to be best later in summer

This leaves The Ring Is King, Dubawi Phantom and Mighty Whitey who all seem to have valid claims and arguably more consistent than the above. If I had to pick one would go for The Ring Is King ridden by the capable K Sexton taking off 5lb

Propose betting these 3 win only as race not great for e/w   7,8 & 9/1 respectively

Please can any body answer this question cheers it's in baseball

before I do my nut at Betfair?

I had an under double.

First came in comfortably.

Second game at the end of the ninth was 3-3 total 6 runs.

I bet under 6.5 but they claiming it has lost?

How can that be right?

Surely extra time is not part of the bet? As it would always be over?

If games go into extra innings those innings count towards both the run line and total bets.

Tighty is right in all US sports overtime always counts unless it's specifically stated as a regulation time only bet which is rare.

If you had to bet pre match, which i assume you did as it was a double, how would it always go over 6.5???  The score could end 1-0 2-0 3-0 3-1 3-2 etc etc and your bet could win??

http://www.paddypower.com/football/football-specials/world-cup-specials?ev_oc_grp_ids=1798141

This looks the sort of market we could have some fun/slash lose small money on Smiley

First thing to say, must be exact wording and is the BBC commentary

I certainly think one is slightly to big see what others think first

So that's Lawro?

Any prices on "They're numerically outnumbered in midfield" or "The longer this game goes on, the more you get the feeling neither team wants to lose"?

Has to be after kick off? Ok, that's what I hadn't realised.

I like "cancelling each other out" and "at the end of the day" at double carpet, although the latter is only going to be spoken by the analyst (Lawro), rather than a professional commentator.

Just googled where "carpet" and "double carpet" come from:

"This is beacuse the first man ever to win at 3/1 ( Oliver Corn - Cheltenham 1876 ) was actually betting in order to get enough money to buy a carpet for his lounge . It turned out however that he had been misquoted by some , frankly , mischevious carpet salesmen and had to return the next day as they had only supplied half the carpet - the rest being offered at an extortionate price - You've guessed it - at 33 times the price - hence the double carpet addage"

Not convinced I believe a lot of that. Any advances?

I was always told that carpet came from the carpet in your cell as a prisoner. If u got three years of more u got a more permanent 'home' which included carpet, those serving less than three had no carpet in their cell
