Could be worth a bet on Diyas to beat Bellis 2-0 for same reasons at 8/11 too on exchange.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

My Spider keeps looking at him too Omm. I was totally confused when the event didn't start an hour ago and I thought I'd missed it, is it a bank holiday in the US and it finishes Monday?
I've read a lot of blogs this week and also I follow a few guys on twitter, unless they all copy each other he was mentioned five times, one guy loaded up at 9/2 on top ten and it was promptly cut to 7/2. I know he was a bigger price earlier but it's a free bet for me and I like doing them on the golf, probably goes against what Doobs has wrote up in the Maths thread but they owe me nothing, my opening offer free bet with boyles went on Bubba for the Masters, boyles and me have now parted company. Anyway I digress, is it worth the thread chucking a little investment on him Neil?

Actually just checked bf and he is now 60.0 outright, 11.5 top 5 and 6.6 top 10. I've taken some of the top ten. I'm only going by what I've read and others opinions so I'll leave it up to the golf experts for a recommendation.

http://www.oddschecker.com/greyhounds/ante-post/champion-stakes/winner
For those that can get on I recommend backing Adageo Bob at 3/1 to win the Champion Stakes with PP. Stand out price for a real top end greyhound. Anyone following the greyhound thread will see us go on about Bob every Friday night in recent times and he has won 10 straight over course and distance, including running a time only a few spots off the track record last week.
The worry in the press was that Wallis wouldn't be able to keep him going at his peak for so long but he hasn't shown any sign of waning and he comes into the competition absolutely flying - another 3 races in 3 weeks is definitely within his abilities and with this competition obviously being his aim I think his trainer would know best.
He can do it from the front or from off the pace and that's a real bonus over the 6 bends. For me, the only real danger is that they have the track stupidly fast on finals night and Airport Captain flies.
Airport Captain is the track record holder and priced in as the main threat - the average time of his last 9 Romford runs is 35:62, whilst Adageo Bob's average is 35.10 - a difference of 6 and a half lengths in greyhound terms. For the majority of the field running under 35:50 would be a career best effort at Romford, whilst Bob has only ever ran worse than that time on one occasion, on his first look.
I've had a look down the rest of the field and can't see anything even else close to Bob's level - I'll be doing the heats overnight so people can check the greyhound thread tomorrow on the off chance I decide to fancy something at a price.
I'm not the best at pricing events but arbboy, who is undoubtedly more skilled than me, thought it was a bet at 9/4 I believe which could mean that he is a bet at the 5/2 on offer at Ladbrokes and SkyBet too. Maybe he'll pop in to agree and TfT can have a small interest at that price.

Haha - that is a laughably bad price about Adageo Bob. How do you ever price the dog up at 3/1 given it is probably the most popular dog in training right now and others went up first at 7/4. I did see some headline today about Paddy Power intending to "trade aggressively" which I just assumed was a joke but maybe they are serious and will lay someone three ponies.

Bob is virtually in the 2nd round already. Drawn 6 with a kipper in 5 and t4 is a middle runner who he beats every other week by half the track he will get a solo and do what he does every Friday night. He won't be 3/1 after the first round that's for sure. If there is carnage in the other heats then he could easily be 5/4ish after the first round.
He must be 1/20 to qualify from this heat.
