Without wishing to seem one-eyed I think Southend are a bet at home against shrewsbury tomorrow at 17-10 with Billy's, vee vee, and every day of the year.

Southend playing well winning their last 3 games with no new injury concerns. Coker our left back is out long term but the lad from crystal palace has come in for the last 3 games and done well, and Leonard is out for a few weeks, didn't play the last game at York and despite ring our best player last year will not be missed with the emergence of other players.

The shrews have been well backed, I suppose on the back of beating Norwich in the cup. They have not won away in the league this year and won only 3 away games last year altho admittedly they were relegated from a higher league. I wonder if they will be distracted by the Chelsea game coming up? (Anyone with any  empirical evidence of teams in this position?)

The teams are of very even ability, backed up by the fact Sporting index have Shrewsbury season points, just half a point higher than southend, altho admittedly they are 2 points behind us at the moment.

With home advantage it seems to me Southend should be solid 6/4 shots, so 17-10 certainly looks big.

This seems to make sense to me

Foursomes

Donaldson/Westwood get Fuyrk/kuchar

Rose/stenson get mahan/johnson

McIlroy/Garcia get walker/fowler

Dubuisson/GMac get Mickleson/Bradley

this is bad news for the Kaymer bet, thought he might play all 5

Rose top Englishman looks very well placed, top Eropean has started well

Speith/Reed not going out again (surprisingly?) has to be good news for a Donaldson rookie bet though, if he performs

Has to be the last we see of Gallagher if the rest play even moderately. Never a good fit for Poulter.

I rate Peterborough highly and they have bad form at the moment. No idea who they play but assuming their price may be potentially be good.

Sorry if this is vague.

surely its not too much to look it up and make a case if you want to make a case?

they are a shades of odds on at home to Fleetwood

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-1/peterborough-v-fleetwood/winner

Peterborough sit 3rd with 16 points, lost their last two

Fleetwood, well funded and competitive, came up last year and are 9th with 13 points

they won their first three, but have no league win in their last six

Sergio isn't playing well and Rory can't play in the wind he just dumped a wedge into a bunker at the last - morale very low.  Walker/Fowler playing well and up for it after getting a half this morning.  They are favs imo.

It's very early days but Kaymer/Bjorn halving from 2 up with three to play and McIlroy/Garcia chucking the last two holes away sees Europe not odds on for the first time

Europe Ev, USA 11/8

long way to go

I was trying to let Chompy tap one in. I know nothing about league 1 or 2 unfortunately. Have just been watching because of Marcus Maddison who is really good.

Like ferguson the manager and saw they unluckily lost the last few games so imagined the bookies would perhaps incorrectly price them.

I've got a hand I'd like your advice on, Pleno:

I've got sevens and there's a raise, so should I just flat?

Seems like an overreaction to me for the price on Europe to move that much.
