The reason I went for Vettel and Bottas over the other outsiders was because they have both won it this season.

Get the spider working.

One for Tighty and Peter27.

In today's GP the most likely scenario I see is Rosberg leading and Hamilton content to stay in 2nd and win the title. Neither of them has an incentive to go for the fastest lap. They are both priced up at around evens but everyone else is 14's or bigger. I have had a dabble on Bottas and Vettel in this market. I will not put up a bet suggestion as I know little of F1 but are my thought processes any good?

I disagree for quite a few reasons. Mainly that Lewis will not settle for 2nd place, he'll push for the win. However, even if we assume that neither of them will push too hard for the fastest lap - they have such a gap to the field on race pace that they will still have the fastest lap probably ..

The only way I can see that a Mercedes driver will not get fastest lap is if someone makes a late pit-stop, and that could be pretty random.

I'm thinking its not but is it possible to back both Red Bulls to finish in top 6 in the GP today ?

it is

5/4 and 6/4

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/abu-dhabi-grand-prix/top-6-finish

pretty skinny, do you think?

Should've been more clearer in post sorry.

Not a recommend, brother just rang me asking for price on both in top 6, I assume you can't make that bet as one winner effects the other but said I'd check for him.

Have put my ideas for 2.25 Navan on the racing thread if you happen to be in the mood for a punt with enhanced place terms...

Must take some serious wedge to move a price that much in under 10 minutes!

Nice one, and congrats all who were on!

Arian Foster is reportedly out today. Still in lots of markets.

https://m.oddschecker.com/m#american-football-nfl-cincinnati-bengals-at-houston-texans-winner

Andre Johnson first TD 10/1 with Billy
Alfred Blue 8/1 first TD 8/1 with BMU or Lads

Can't be bad, can it?

Wow yeah just checked the racingpost result and it said balbriggan went off at 4/1F and Groody Hill was 8/1. I assume racingpost isn't entirely accurate on the starting price or at least it's bookie sample is small, however considering I got my bet on at simon's recommended prices maybe 20 minutes before the race started that's an insanely quick price fall!

well done to the team for the F1 ideas

Hector's fastest lap idea came in, dutching the top non-merc teams - Ricciardo at 16/1

Peter's Hulkenberg 11/1 top six came in, as did Perez top 10 at 10/11

the Hamilton 3/1 drivers championship bet (joebeevers) from February came in

Bad news for our SPOTY positions, though...
