Sadly, Sharapova gets Bouchard in her quarter which is probably the toughest of the seeds 5 to 8.

Madison Keys can still be backed at 100/1 and laid at 89/1 but, after commission, I think it's not such a great opportunity.  Smiley

Any views on Birmingham at Leeds?

Birmingham have been turned around by Rowett and now seem like a well organised, solid team who keep producing.

Leeds on the other hand are in a right old tangle. They seem to be in a downward spiral where confidence is low and losing games has become a habit.

Even though this information is well known, I still like Birmingham at 19/10.

Don't really have a view on tomorrow's game, but I expect Leeds to be an "improver" in the second half of the season.  Think some of the players they have brought in are quite decent and think Redfearn will do fine as manager after a chaotic start to the season for the club.

Mr Pommeroy backed at 10-1 off at 9-2 just failed to win at Meydan -£10

ongoing positions

Ronnie OS beat Fu 6-1 to advance to the semis of the Masters for which he is now odds on

I am not sure if anyone watched Neil Rbertson last night, in his 6-1 win over Carter, but he was sensational

Ronnie and Robertson meet in their semi at 1pm tomorrow

In the golf

In Abu Dhabi a good start for us

Kaymer shot a 64 to lead at -8

Uihlien a 67 to be Tied 8th on -5

Fleetwood 74, +2

In Hawaii, behind Paul Casey who shot a 62 overnight

Donald tied 32nd after a -2 round

Gomez Tied 9th after going round one over

In the NBA

The Cavs finally returned to some form with Lebron back in the line up with a 109-102 win over the Lakers. This got them back to a 50-50% win-loss record.  No team in NBA history has won the title after being below .500 through 39 games, which the Cavs were this season

Great stuff from Kaymer in the golf. Or was it Kuchar?.......

I saw Robertson in the snooker, my oh my, he was unplayable.

Be great to watch him & Ronnie get it together.

Henderson on SprinterSacre (via BBC): "We need the race and have got to take it as it is, on unsuitable ground, which might just undo him."

I don't know if anybody has been paying attention but  our man Steveo is now a solid 7/2 shpt for the jump (last price matched on betfair 7/2).  He was recced at 11/1 and think was recommended at all prices down to 5/1.

Solid

Of more interest is that Jodie Kidd has now joined the show.  Chorals have opened up at 20/1, like she is some ex model or something.  I have had a look around and she looks like a regular skier and even took part in some BBC show skiing off piste.  She has taken part in motor races and I remember her been pretty quick driving the lap on top gear.  So she can ski, isn't lacking in bottle.  I don't think that can equate to 20/1.

If we can get on with them, suggest a tenner each way Jodie Kidd the jump with choral at 20/1

Too slow I'm afraid, death of the forum threads definitely a negative for this forum.

edit.  win only at 20/1 is still good if we can get on with betfred and bwin.  think that is better than 16/1 each way
