Man City & Arsenal to win double @11/8 is an enhanced offer From Baldy that's worth taking advantage of.

Betfair to win price is evens, max bet is £100 minus whatever restrictions Fred has.

Thank you.

Anyone got a view on this?

It doesn't need any views does it?

Arsenal already looked a decent price, the main question is whether you like backing doubles Wink

Well if you like both teams to win and you were going to back both anyway you can't argue.  If you back Arsenal on exchange and reinvest winning on City it falls way short of 11/8  on offer

Big adz. I asked tighty if he already had a tip for that last race yesterday,he must have put your horse up,I was too late.

Yes similar profile,I am not dismissing Simons, just like bertie in that race

Not been racing over here, must be confident of a good showing,no bet for me as yet, waiting to see if any support comes close to off.  No idea if tongue tie will help, who knows what goes through a horses mind. Time will tell, you would have to think it will help.

You know me too well, Mr McG.

And yes, I know all the logic for both sides of the debate.

I also know how much money the industry makes from enhanced dubs, trebs & accas. They advertise them for a reason.

If we get some warmth, I guess we'll do it, but I wanted a bit of feedback first. I'm Lord Nit, I am the Anti-Marky.

Each to their own, of course.

We had pretty much closed the book by then, & Adzy, as per usual, had out his stuff up the night before. On busy days, that really helps. Not knocking you, but thats how it is. On time-sensitive days, we just can't manage.

It does not matter though if Fred gets on or not, it's compoletely irrelevant. As long as the bet is put up, everyone else can make their own minds up.

I'm not entirely sure why everyone is calling this qualifying a disaster for McLaren. They are at the back of the grid, but they expected nothing more. Their powertrain is at the same level everybody else's was at the start of last season - essentially they are year behind everyone. A disaster would be if they exceeded the 107% rule and did not qualify.

Funny you should say that.

I think the whole McLaren - Ron Dennis - Honda thing is incredibly interesting.

I wrote an article this morning which made quite a thing of that, & how it might all end up. For students of psychology, the interview this morning with Ron Dennis, post qualifying, was simply amazing. Bear in mind he & I are the same age, & I've been following his fortunes for some 35 years.

If it survives the sub-editor, (Wm Hill go 3/1) & gets published this afternoon, I'll put up a link to it.

It may have been mentioned before, If so apols. But just listening to RTB on ATR about the F1.

He suggested Vettel to podium, which seems to be 6/4 across the board, yet with Scuy and Betty SB he is 25-1 ew 1,2,3.

Am I missing something?

It may still be there, but I could not find it to save my life. I can never find stuff on Baldy, but I thought it was just me. I feel a little less stupid now. Smiley

A few go 1-2 eachway, Sportsbook certainly massive odds compared to any 6/4 bet to make podium.

Looking forward to it, sounds like an interested read.

The McLaren & Honda situation is fascinating. They knew that they'd be on the back foot for a couple of years after moving to a brand new engine supplier (if they didn't then they're deluded), yet they still chose to do it. It's obviously a long term project, I would love to know the intricate details of the contract.
