i think they want a continental name with international reach, trying to read the tea-leaves

reason for wanting to find out if both firms had matching settlement rules as they have a widely different quote for chris rogers series runs. billys are o/u 299.5 and baldy is o/u 345.5. Majority of quotes is 10 runs difference between bookies but we get 46 here which seems may too big? theory would be to back over 299.5 and under 345.5 at 5/6 and aim for the scoop.e.g  60 on each risks £10 loss in total and scoops 100 win if his series total is 300-345. in essence a 10/1 shot on that runs range, which must be too big a price? lass on live chat said hills policy is min 2 tests or its void. if he plays one and then is injured/dropped we'd get the overs stake back from hills and win the unders on baldy so still works out?

Interested to know what people's thoughts on the true odds of him scoring between 300-345? Essentially, assuming he plays all 5 tests ( there was some talk on cricinfo of Marsh opening with Warner), that means 60-67 runs per test. That's below his test average IF he bats every innings.

A good spot and worth further discussion.

Latest Cricinfo talk was that him and Watson had secured the last 2 spots that were up for grabs. To get a real run at it, you'd like him to play all 5 (or just one, where you'd win due to rule differences between the bookies) 400 runs is the quote for the likes of smith, root and warner, so it's unlikely he'd get that many. someone like Lyth is o/u 286. given Rogers averages a tick under 40 in tests, you'd think he'd out-perform a newbie. The differences between bookies quotes on all other players were all pretty tight, biggest other difference was 24.5 with Clarke, 46 on Rogers here gives us a lot of margin. On the last tour over here he scored 367, so we're in the right ballpark. The other quotes this morning were 300.5, 319.5 and 320. Seems the Baldy one of 345.5 is the outlier.

Lotus are facing a winding up order.  So SPIN don't want to be exposed to people selling if the order goes through and people buying as soon as they are safe.  It isn't the normal punters they are scared of it is those that know the result of the court case before SPIN.  Presumably the suspension will stop as soon as there is more clarity.
