Rat City Rollergirls is the name of the league. Quite a wiki page...
Cultural Significance
The league is a prominent example of a subcultural trend which combines diverse strains of postpunk, third-wave feminism, the reexamination and re-creation of 1950s recreational pursuits, new burlesque style, a do-it-yourself ethic, and sports for all women. As the number of roller derby leagues have increased quickly since 2005, the Rat City Rollergirls have provided inspiration and peer mentorship to other leagues.

NZ are the faves for title being not only the best team, but they have a pretty easy route relative to England/Aus/RSA as well.
don't think the easy route is correct. they get south africa in the semis, which would be 1st and 2nd favourites meeting before the final
england/australia/ireland (wales and france) can make the final without facing new zealand or south africa if they win their group. that half of the draw is far softer, but a lot less predictable/evenly matched

Recommend £10 EW on Ben Smith RWC Top Try Scorer 12/1 with Billy Hills. It cannot go off longer than that I think.
Market Selection Price Hcp
Rugby World Cup 2015
Top Tournament Tryscorer
EW 1/4 1,2,3,4,5 Smith, Ben 12/1
Total stake £ 20.00
Estimated return £ 170.00
Full stake £ 20.00
Full estimated return £ 170.00

What it absolutely isn't is a group of women in suggestive clothing fighting for the gratification of an ogrish, beer-swilling crowd. On skates. Important we make that clear.

Surely these ladies are free to wear what they want? They appear to have clothing and protective equipment that is appropriate for some sport or other. It isn't like those Vegas girls who choose to wear skimpy clothing in 40 degree heat.

Bfred doing 4 places 1/4 on this race, any sugesstions? quite like Moviesta and they have just pushed it out to 7.5 which is only 0.5 shorter than bf. thoughts? Could probably do 2 or 3 of them but they are just under on everything on bf (top 6).

If it's Street Fighter II Turbo or MarioKart, I reckon we should enter a TfT Team.
In for MarioKart.
Would also throw my hat in the ring for N64 Goldeneye.

They're ok on Line of Reason as well, but don't have much to add other than it seems well drawn.
edit meh maybe not looked at the place price on betfair doesn't seem like much value

You're right, I meant easy route to semis (which gtes the 7th game!)
Can't have SA second faves btw....would be happy to lay them at prices personally. Will also be laying England at 9/2 which is far too short.

The 3.10 is very nice too if you can get quarter 5 places. Unfortunately I was busy last night and this morning so had no time to do any research before reading Neil's stuff.
Could we just do
Kool Kompany
for a tenner each way in the 2.55. He isn't quite group 1 class, but I like the horse and we get to match betfair on the win and smash it on the place.
16/1 quarter first 3. If you want a tenner each wa
y from me let me know whilst it is still around.
will try and look at the 3.45 now
