Is this the first flapping track to feature on sky greyhounds?

Pelaw isn't a flapping track?

I think we should have another dart at Ben Martin for the USPGA. We had a decent sweat in the US Open for 2 days and if his third round had been as good as the other 3 (he shot 86 - LOL) we would have collected a nice place payment from a 250/1 EW bet.

Unfortunately, "one bad round" is Ben's MO. He has put it together once this season with a win. He has/had good GIR stats which is an important stat for this donkament IMO.

TTR he is 300/1 with joke oral (and scuy) but we can get 500+ on the machine which I have taken. Instead of an EW bet we can bet top 5 (66/1) or top 10(28/1) with joke oral which both beat the machine as I type.

Recommend £5 win at 500+/1 with betfair exchange and £5 each on top 5 and 10 finishes with joke oral

Sorry about yday guys.  Couple of lunchtime pints turned into a monster session.  I have literally only got up now.  Feel terrible. Self inflicted as usual.  Too old for this shit.

I was doing my nuts at the time the rants started against arron backing dogs odd or even with a punter in the pub.  Literally lost 10 in a row at one stage was comical for what ended up some quite serious money.  No excuse to behave like i did on here even though someone PM'd this morning to say it makes the place more fun when someone literally blows up like that.

I need to stop posting on blonde when i have had a drink!

You were really entertaining. I don't think anyone could be upset by that.

Any angles for the league cup tonight from anyone?

I've settled on Luton.  No inside info but I have a hunch Bristol will be focusing all their efforts early season on getting a midtable berth in the Championship.

13/5 on home team looks a bit big to me.

So, back to business.

The US PGA starts on Thursday.

I may have missed others, but I can only recall input from doubleuip & Methuselah so far.

Nobody else got anything?

Any sub-markets?

McIllroy plays, which will liven matters up, & is generally 11/1, with Spieth @ 7/1.

problem is only sky and stan are 7 places and both fred cant do, they are also ducking most on the outright win price vs bf, so really it will be just what people fancy rather than value from what i can see. Hopefully if a few are looking we might be able to spot something.

here is the weather for the golf

http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/pga-championship/weather.html

seems friday is the danger day, cant seem to find the hourly for this, anyone know how the draw pans out vs weather?

http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/sheboygan_north_ave

does seem to be good for friday afternoon bods.

Did we do furyk @ 50s with one of the 6 place firms?

I also like Danny Lee for top rest of the world @ 16s 4 places 1/4 odds.

I've posted about this on the NFL thread but this is too absurd not to share.

New York Jets quarterback, Eugene "Geno" Smith got into an altercation with a reserve player in training. Said player then punched him and broke his jaw.

Out for two months.

The story has some tremendous quotes:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13416881/geno-smith-new-york-jets-6-10-weeks-broken-jaw

"You can call him every name in the book and point in his face and do whatever you want," Bowles said later, "but when you punch a man in the face, that's some serious stuff."

I've been monitoring Charlton for a few weeks and I think the bookies are underestimating them.  We have slightly missed the boat as the bookies have corrected after the QPR win, but not by enough.

What drew me to looking at them was that they had something of the 2013/2014 Watford about them in that they seemed to be being written off more on the basis that people hadn't heard about many of their influx of new players as opposed to anything more concrete.  Some of the signings won't work out (at Watford see Neuton/Geijo/Francone/Acuna) but overall I think they've done well in securing experienced middle ranking European players.

At the back they seem to have brought in some regulars from the European leagues - Bergdich (Valladolid), Bauer (Maritimo) and Sarr (Sporting Lisbon).

In midfield  they have added the Algerian Kashi who was a Metz regular for 3 years.  Think Kashi could end up being their version of Almen Abdi, and adds to a decent group already in there in Diarra/Gudmundsson/Jackson.

Up front they have Makienok (who banged in goals at Brondby before a dissapointing spell at Palermo last season), Tony Watt, Ventekole and Reza.   I've liked Tony Watt in the times I have seen him - fancy Charlton to score a lot of goals this year and feel this may be his breakout year.

Add in a few england youth internationals like Cousins and Aherne-Grant and I think they will definitely hold their own this year and are an outside bet for playoffs.

Best play I think is buying their points on spreads at 57.5.  They opened at about 53 and I got on but just topped up as think it is still too low.   I just can't see them getting sucked into relegation problems so I think 50 is the baseline for me.  If things click I could see them accruing 70+ points for a playoff berth.

As such I think we should go:

£15 Charlton to be promoted at 18-1
£5 Tony Watt to be top scorer at 50-1
Buy Charlton Athletic points at 57.5 for £10 a point

Tighty - let me know what you think (not sure if there are any Addicks fans on the thread who can let me know if I'm way off here).  If you want the spread bet I can put it on my account alongside Fred's Watford bet.  Feel free to adjust stake up or down from the £10 a point.

I also think we should support Charlton in their early games before the international break as they are very under rated at the moment (eg 7-1 to win at Derby at weekend) but we can assess on match by match basis as maybe don't want to put eggs in one basket.
