Raise the tone you mean?

The line-up has been confirmed it seems.

http://metro.co.uk/2016/01/03/celebrity-big-brother-2016-lineup-confirmed-how-many-do-you-recognise-5597562/

Yes, yes, Daily Star, but they invariably get these things right.

Mega fights coming if they're correct. Pretty sure Daniella Westbrook failed to get clearance to go in once before and she'll never last the course. Gemma Collins likewise.

Obv David Gest remembered for his Vaginica Seaman comedy naming antics. Christopher Maloney was a happy-chappy type on X Factor from memory, but most of the others I wouldn't have the foggiest.

Depends on how the voting is done as much as anything. If it's anything like IAMCGMOOH, the winner will be young, thick and shiny, so Scotty Timlin looks to fit the bill.

Anyone knows anything about Megan McKenna? Ex on the beach? Never seen it, but she looks a likely type.

Megan can't win absolute pain in the ass. Will rile a lot of people and is beyond mArmite. Just over 100k Twitter followers. Scotty T and Gemma have over a milli ball. Price gone on Scotty 7/2 now. Hope some got in

Halftime in the two early games. Passing yards so far:

Tom Brady 20
Drew Brees 183

Brady is carrying an ankle injury but the team is losing so he has to soldier on. Brees is going ballistic again on one leg.

Table looks like this now:

1. Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints) 4,730
2. Tom Brady (New England Patriots) 4,662

3. Philip Rivers (San Diego Chargers) 4,564
4. Carson Palmer (Arizona Cardinals) 4,542

Did we get the Washington bet on in the end?

And of the two, I assume we'd prefer to back the team that is firing its head coach (Giants) to lose over the team that is playing in the shop window for the next one (Eagles)?

No say so on washington

i had wanted to be on the side of the team playing hard in the shop window, having hated the previous coach, but as its coughlin's last game (probable) maybe the giants want to go out with a bang too

so i dont know

50.5 is the points line for that game. Both sides eager to please, we think? If so, caution more important than individual highlight reel risk taking, defenses playing up to the game and more disciplined in approach.

50.5 is a lot of points, only three fewer than New Orleans v Atlanta (which could go over 70 if Brees can stand upright for an hour, although we'd rather prefer it if he didn't).

Under?

Edit: 51 now, 19/20 with Chorals.

Only a suggestion.

you want to go under in a meaningless game with these secondaries?

maybe, but i'd have to shut my eyes for three hours while holding my breath....

It's what might fairly be described as a contrarian play, yes.

Well, it's 21-20 at half time.

Washington lead Dallas 21-14

We have about 5 minutes of play left in the early games.

Brady: 134
Brees: 323

1. Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints) 4,870
2. Tom Brady (New England Patriots) 4,770

Those games are final, so, in 10 minutes, Palmer and Rivers will be starting their games.

1. Brees 4,870
2. Brady 4,770

3. Rivers 4,564
4. Palmer 4,542

Of interest, the Patriots got beat today, so Denver can steal the number one seed spot by beating Rivers's San Diego Chargers. How about that number one defense stepping up to seal at least a place spot for our man, please?

The Brady performance gives that bet two shots at the place.

so the first thing we need, is for Palmer to pass for 229 yards to get the each way.  Scooping might be a tall order against the Seahawks.
Hopefully, this will be a high scoring game.

Yes. Double check my numbers if you would, Tighty. I'm working off various apps and I'd hate to fluff it up by a crucial yard.

That's fair, although Palmer did throw for 363 when he played in Seattle a few weeks ago. We want a high scoring game, ideally one in which Seattle go ahead and Arizona have to chase.

329 for the win if I've got this right.

One thing I think we also have to hope is that Cam Newton and the Panthers don't race off into a massive lead against the Bucs. If they do, it doesn't matter if the Cards win so there's a chance Arians pulls the starters.

Yep. Lots of twists and turns ahead for sure. We are in the hunt, which is as much as we could hope for.

Well you got your wish - Seattle are way ahead, and Arizona gave to chase.

That's the easy bit then.....

Be surprised if they even bring Carson out in the 2nd half, so not so good.
