CBB

I have to admit that I haven't done much work on this and some of the names I don't really recognise so this is just for discussion rather than a recc. I quite like the look of David Gest at 6/1 personally but John Partridge looks a decent price at 8/1+ on the machine.

Can John Partridge win? Does his reason for going in the house help?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3386083/John-Partridge-reveals-s-Celebrity-Big-Brother-pay-mum-s-Alzheimer-s-care.html

watched it last night, purely for research purposes

thought Darren Day would win it.

How long does it last?

Thankfully, my mrs hasn't realised it's on yet, gotta keep her away from the sky planner for a few days..lol
I thought Darren Day had a poor public image nowadays, wouldn't wanna be betting on him. Then again, don't know several of 'em in there.

I wake up with a small headache to a couple of texts saying the fav in this race is perfectly named and priced for me and should be a max bet.

So with the favourite being so short - and more than 8 runners - not worth looking at something big priced for 2nd/3rd EW?

Does anyone know if Adzy is OK? - not posted since January 1st.

Hopefully, he is over in France, in his Chateau, "Chez Many Clouds", tending his vineyards.

I'm here. TY for asking.

Had problems logging in, and too stupid to work out how to fix it.

Just watching another Nelly bet on the edge of popping. N1

Good to hear.

This Nelly special was a "push" I think, but I'd follow his stuff blind, he really knows his Silly Cricket.

Anyone fancy a lotto syndicate tomorrow for the £50m?  We did one for the scoop 6.  This is probably more value with no ego issues regarding selecting numbers.

Maybe wait until it can't rollover anymore (once more on Saturday?)and they will pay out jackpot on 5 nos + bonus, if no one has all 6..... would this be better value for our buck?

That's a yes and a no I think.
The chances of matching 5+bonus ball are obviously better, but is it more likely to be shared?

On the plus side, if it does reach that point then sales seem likely to rocket.

Still a lottery either way.

I don't think it is likely value yet.   Adding in all those numbers made the chance of winning up to 1 in 45 million, and also meant the chances of winning anything else reduced.  Given the price is now £2 a tcket then I think we still lose on average.  Guess this changes when the 5 numbers + bonus comes in, though I haven't done the maths..

FWIW If everybody in the uk did a line, and entered 24 hours before the draw, whilst 1.5 people person would win it on average, 1500 would die before the draw.

Cheers doobs.  Someone told me the jackpot has to go tonight because it has reached £50m and there is a cap now.  No idea if the guy is right or not as i don't follow the lotto at all really.  Didn't even realise it was £2 a go now and/or there are more balls than 49 now either.

Anyone know the actual deal tonight then officially?  If it has to go tonight and someone doesn't get all 6 numbers does the cash just get split over 5 and bonus etc?

Just found this on the lotto site

The Lotto jackpot can roll until it reaches or exceeds £50 million. If it isn't won when it reaches or exceeds this amount, the entire jackpot will roll to the next Lotto draw and must be won in that draw.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/national-lottery-why-this-weeks-record-50-million-lotto-jackpot-is-so-high-a6796711.html

Doesn't look as good a bet as before the changes.  Who decided to cap it at £50m and why?

I guess the lotto decided it when they upped the price to £2. I rather they did keep it at ~£50m JPs as any more than that (considering it could get split a few ways when they reduced the requirement to 5+ the bonus ball) is too much for one couple IMO. Better to get a few couples+families/friends who can retire, rather than one winner of nine figures.

I only ever get involved in the lottery when there is loads of dead money in there already, so have bought 3 tonight  :-)  Some poor couple *should* have won it last week but they didn't complete the purchase properly online  :-/

Nothing spectacular but a few of the better bets tonight at Romford on RPGTV imo...

9.06 Romford T2 7/2 Good trial over the distance lightly raced and in good form. Between 1 & 3 who are slow away can hopefully grab an early lead and seems like this dog should stay well enough to win this S1.

9.24 Romford T5 3/1 (NAP) - Never run in company lower than this and won 4 from 6 in this grade, spent most of it's career running close in A2's. Downgrade tonight and 3/1 generous.

10.11 Romford T6 7/2 Bitch running at the top of her game at the moment and went close to landing an A1 last week. Can lead the outside and take it up round the third bend and hopefully run away from the field.

Lol, 7 sets, 1-1 in 180s until final leg, then Harms gets his second, sigh.

Great stuff Smiley

I know Fred can't get on with Bet365 or , but in the last race Trap 2 @ 7/2 with 365 or 10/3 with worth taking asap.

I'd also advise at 3/1 to be honest with 888 for some Fred action, will be shorter (near 2/1-9/4) come go time tonight.
