Tighty

IPL tomorrow, RCB a short price again. Are we looking to oppose them in these kind of spots? Sunrisers 15/8 on the machine, won the corresponding fixture last season.

RCB obviously have the "big 3" (4 now with Watto), but have struggled with the balance of their side in previous editions. No Starc or Badree as overseas bowlers so a potential weakness there.

Sunrisers have Warner (top runscorer in the tourney last season) and Dhawan to opener up, Nehra and B.Kumar with the new ball and Mustifizur with his cutters.

RCB obviously the stronger side on paper, but should any team be 15/8 in the 1st round of the IPL?

RCB are going to be routinely overbet because of their star names and firepower. this isn't new, its happened in the rpevious 8 IPLs too, none of which they have won

going to need to score a lot of runs to give a poor bowling attack something to defend at Bangalore, a small ground

one thing i watch is the "highest first six overs" markets, anywhere around evens RCB most games is a better bet than taking a T20 side at 1/2, 8/15 etc in this format

on the other bet, Delhi are a major risk to finish bottom from what i saw the other day

I like KKR to win it, have an excellent strategy that they consistently apply

Palermo have managed to get through 6 managers since mid January, with the latest addition being Davide Ballardini. Who has been promised until the end of the season...

GPI heads up match odds from pokerstars. Any thoughts?

Tricket 5/6 v Lew 5/6
Nitsche 5/6 v Troyanovsky 5/6
Luneau (alexonmoon) 3/4 v Sammartino Evens
Nishijima 17/20 v Lefrancois 17/20
Galfond 17/20 v Mercier 17/20
Busquet 3/4 v Duhamel evens

Luneau and Busquet are high stakes HU players/ I wonder how big their edge is here in this structure. I think they could be a bet.

Match is best of three and Hu structure is:

Starting Stack: 50,000 Chips

Small Blind   Big Blind   Ante   Time
200   400   40   4 min.
300   600   60   4 min.
400   800   80   4 min.
500   1,000   100   4 min.
600   1,200   120   4 min.
800   1,600   160   4 min.
1,000   2,000   200   4 min.
1,200   2,400   240   4 min.
1,400   2,800   280   4 min.
1,600   3,200   320   4 min.
2,000   4,000   400   Until match end.

6 max odds

Euroasia

Nitsche 7/2
Bonomo 7/2
Leah 9/2
Kanit 9/2
Troyanovskiy 5/1
Huang heat 1 / Dong for heat 2 - 5/1

With a 114% overround Stars giving nothing away there and I can't see much value.

---

Americas Heat 1

Duhamel 7/2
Macphee 4/1
Holz 4/1
Simao Peres 9/2
Kuo 5/1
Liu 11/2

Heat 2
Kuo 4/1
Macphee 4/1
Liu 9/2
Cody 9/2
Kormuth 9/2
Simao Peres 5/1

More interesting. Weird discrepancy with the odds between the two heats with some of the same people.

Fedor Holz could be a bet there at 4/1 as no way Duhamel is favourite there, right?

=====

6 max structure

Starting Stack: 25,000 Chips

Small Blind   Big Blind   Ante   Time
100   200   25   8 min.
150   300   30   8 min.
200   400   50   8 min.
300   600   75   8 min.
400   800   100   8 min.
600   1,200   150   8 min.
800   1,600   200   8 min.
1,000   2,000   250   8 min.
1,200   2,400   300   8 min.
1,500   3,000   400   8 min.
2,000   4,000   500   Until match end.

Oh my Lord, is there really someone called Mr cuntycakes?

Maybe I need to get out more.

Not sure Mere would approve of that on his Spready.

Stars prices are going to be more out of sync but doubt the overround is beatable.

JMo offering better prices but he isn't an idiot.

I'd steer clear.

Edit: ^Jason Mo's online name is carrycakes and his abrasive persona led to being called cuntycakes. Quite good imo.

Nice to compare Jason's lines with Stars. The overround offends me quite a bit, but they do have a couple of players who beat Jason's odds so I might bet those.

I am only looking for small bets for a fun sweat so I am sure it is not worth Mr Mo dealing with...

EDIT - can't even log in to betstars website and poker isn't listed as a category in the sportsbook in the poker client. Oh well.

If they have no gamble but want to freeroll a nice juicy win, back o0.5 goals at 1/25 with first bet then inplay bet 0-0

Chance to win £500 risk free

Probably not in this case since they often offer crap in-play odds. Tonight the 0-0 was still 13.0 but the no first GS immediately went down to 11.0 from the pre-match's 13.0
