Wasn't snooker player Martin Gould a dealer at Walsall?

He is announced as a former croupier but i have never found out which casino(s) he worked in.  I can't remember ever seeing him at Walsall but not sure what years he would have been a croupier before he turned pro.  Thought he was from London/SE tbh originally.

Yeah - he's from the next village over from me - Pinner.  Played in the snooker clubs in Harrow before he got famous I think.  I like watching him play - the game coming up verses Ding should be quick stuff.

I stuck him up here at a three figure price (before the draw, I hasten to add...) a few months ago.

If you wouldn't mind, Martin...

A big football night for us tonight

Newcastle v Man C 11/2 v 4/7 we could really do with a Newcastle win, however unlikely, for our two relegation bets.

in the championship

Preston are at Birmingham and Leeds host Wlves in our spread bet match bet Leeds +3.5 v Preston

Charlton are at Bolton, 3 points would be very welcome

Burnley v Middlesborough is a corker

in league one

Burton v Wigan could be crucial. avoid defeat the main aim Wigan

Chesterfield are at home to Doncaster. A Doncaster win would drag Chesterfield back into the relegation mix

Peterborough are at Barnsley

Bury are at Scunthorpe

in league two its last chance saloon for cambridge and their top seven hopes, at home to Morecambe

we are open for business if there is any value out there

Grimsby play tonight too, and Eastleigh - a win for Grimsby and defeat for Eastleigh will confirm Grimsby's play-off place, barring a mathematical goal difference miracle.

Don't get this market move for France in the ESC at all. Whoop-di-do, they're singing in English for the first time ever. Doesn't make the song any better though. They also don't go through the semi-finals, which is definitely a negative.

It's 9-4 Russia, 4 France, 14 Bar. Russia should be a lot shorter imo and now is the time to strike.

£100 @ 3.45 on the machine please.

We also have Germany to beat UK in a match bet at 6-4 for not much. Germany is ok and I'd be disappointed if this doesn't collect.

Who knows, I might even let it ride...

KKR beat KXIP today.

we have KXIP to finish bottom

in what has been a tremendously flat competition so far, 12 of the 13 games have been won by the chasing team

with the exception of RCB and KKR few batting line ups have fired

KXIP are currently bottom

Miller and Maxwell have been dreadful.

The issue Kings Xi have going forward is their overseas back-up is understrength. Mitchell Johnson is short of a gallop, so they brought in Abbot who is solid but not a game-changer. Shaun Marsh is a lock till he gets injured again. I expect they persevere with Miller for a good while yet, as they (wrongly) made him skipper. If they drop Maxwell, the choices are Stoinis or Behardien ... I think they're in a world of trouble. 15/8 to finish bottom now, as low as evens with paddy

Aguero scores, now 2 behind Kane and he has 5 to play

Newcastle point, now 2 behind Norwich and 1 behind Sunderland to keep our hopes of them staying up and sending our two relegation bets down alive

Leeds win, Preston draw, 2 points back on the spread bet where we are now in marginal profit if the season ended today

Charlton point, but relegated.

Burton and Wigan draw, Walsall draw

Chesterfield draw, Bury lose

Peterborough lose. I have closed off the top six bets and top six lay, as that is now not possible

Cambridge win 7-0, now 5 points off 7th with 3 games to go. The last time Cambridge scored seven in the league was the day Ernie Wse died (March 1999). Thier opponents last night? Morecambe.

Grimsby win to climb back into third and an e/w poisition in the conference for out wigan double with three games to go

another shock at the crucible

results last night mean this too for Leicester City

I struggle to see how Man U are 2/5 (initially I'm thinking they are more like 4/5) tonight against Palace even with Ledley, Bolasie, Ward and Dann out.

I'm going to wait until the teamsheet tonight at 19.00 to possibly come back with a bet. I might have a second look at our team and get a dose of reality but we shall see Smiley
