and Lumiere is 5/1 for the 1000 on sunday
we have £50 at 10-1 from six months ago, and we are going to line up with a nice price
how are we feeling about that?

Never heard Johnston so bullish. If she settles from the front, she should give us a great run.

The Lumiere bet is in ok shape but the perfect scenario would have been a single-figure field, faster ground and the stalls on the far side, as front-runners are definitely favoured when they're over there.
Unfortunately we have 16 runners, ground that plays to Minding's strengths and the stalls up the stands' side, with Lumiere drawn in the middle of the pack.
That's a bit to overcome in a Classic but, if she's as good as MJ thinks, she'd have a channer.

For anyone wondering about the Spurs bet on Betbright. Just had an email from them saying they made a mistake with the place option and that they will either take it as win only. Or void it for me.

Can things still come good tho, even in an imperfect scenario - I guess that's the question I'm trying to answer

It's too short atm I think. Still a good bet at 10's though.

Lumiere is way too short. Ground, trip and draw all huge question marks.
If we are 100% sure (which we can't be unless A O'B is a close personal friend) Minding is fit and has trained on, 6/4 is an absolute gift.

This is the time to flip it then and lay £200 at 5/1 surely? Surely the one time where we should 'green up' we are not going to right? haha!

If it was my position I definitely would.
As soon as I heard rain was forecast I would be clicking pink. Draw has made it even more difficult.

Trading is fine to do for fred when we shouldn't do it but still do but the times when we should we don't! That's the funny thing.

You took the brave route, though, and let Sunderland run. Kudos!
