Get well soon Horsey.

On another unrelated matter; will Midterm manage to avoid tripping over his coltishness in The Dante?

Very right

Foundation had a horrid run though Sad

Some of you may have noticed that horsey has not posted for a while, in fact he has not logged into blonde for a week now.

News reaches me that he is in hospital, & most unwell. I don't have any more details, but I am given to understand it is not a trivial matter.

John is much missed here, so lets hope he fully recovers, & the sooner the better.

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery John.

+1, all the best.

Awful Derby this year.

Come on Listen, send the super-filly, she'll walk it.

Exactly what I thought.  So decided to take a price on foundation for the Derby only for John Gosden to come on 30 seconds later to say he is going to France...

Would that be because Chantilly might suit Foundation better than Epsom, or could it be Mr Gosden has something better tucked up his sleeve for Epsom?

Time to take the freebie on Russia in the ESC.

It's a shorter price at this stage than either Loreen or Monts Zormerlurve and doesn't deserve to be. It's not as strong as that pair.

If it's the same price on Saturday morning it'll be winning but it's too short for me currently. Lay £100 @ 2.1.

Limato has been declared for the Lockinge but has drifted because of the ground. How is it soft?

If that description is right I'd assume he'll be taken out. If it's wrong and we get two more drying days he'll start favourite. All down to the weather.

They had yellow rainfall warning's Tuesday/Wednesday at Newbury, I'll check but the projection was 40mm, more than enough for soft going. I like Kodi Bear at the prices.

I am about 30 miles east of Newbury, and the rain was torrential yesterday, and today, the Thames is very high. Can easily imagine Newbury got plenty of rain.
