With the ground looking to get softer tomorrow, I quite like one in the Ascot Stakes.

Totalize, was still on the bit at the back of the field 2f out in the Chester Cup last time out, but ran on nicely to finish about 3 lengths behind the leaders. He reopposes a couple of those ahead of him on better terms, and looks like he will handle both the additional distance and soft ground.

Considering he has the weight terms slightly in his favour and was a bit of an eyecatcher, I am surprised we are getting over three times the price for him.

Only 33-1 in one place, but I gather we can we Sportingbet here again?

Suggest £15 ew Totalize 33-1 Sportingbet

Morning Tighty.

The Halle tennis tournament begins today on grass courts. The grass season is very short and the ability to play well on it and to be in form is difficult to work out. I don't think Federer is any sort of price, he lost to Thiem last week. I really like Kohlscriber but he still has to complete the final from last week so who knows if he will even play this.

The player I am going to recommend is A Zverev, he has not played a lot on grass but he is making huge strides each season as he is so young. He has managed in his few matches a victory over Djokovic on grass, something not many have achieved. Zverev does have a tricky first match against Troicki, who I seriously considered backing for this tournament, but if Zverev wins this match he could win this.

Suggest £10 e/w A Zverev @ 40/1 with Ladbrokes.

first loser of the day. I had Tal at 6/4.

It was a good bet. I can only assume that Tal is lacking an internet connection.
