Far side I thought. Caravaggio won despite being on the slower side.

I wasn't convinced.   Kings stand the pace was near side as it was in the queen Anne.   I think the jury is out and it isn't obvious.  For instance in the 3.05, you want to be near the Wesley ward horse??

Not sure that will tell you much, as he will be on his own for 4f prob!! Wink

Hopefully for 5f Wink

Think she just held on

No idea why I didn't just tip that one up.  You'd have a heck of a horse if you could get near that one.

The time it says people posted on here is always wrong. Got my hopes up, when I see 5x6 posted at '9:42'

Sigh.

Sold Payet's Player performance tonight, he looked absolutely fucked after the first game and I was sure if France were a couple up early he'd be withdrawn after an hour or so.

Stays on all match, but is safely under the spread until that 94th minute goal. Cost me £250. I'll cut out the middle man and bank transfer you the money.

Tennis: WTA Mallorca Quarter-final

Sorana Cirstea v Jelena Jankovic

Jankovic is 2.2 to win on Betfair (and all the bookies have Cirstea as favourite too).
https://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/#/tennis/market/1.125253984

For the tournament:
http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wta-mallorca/mallorca-open/winner
https://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/#/tennis/market/1.125227654

Cirstea can be backed at 18/1 whilst Jankovic is best 4/1.

There is something amiss there, I think!

The only possible reason that I can think of the price discrepancy is that JJ might have an injury (and hence might be doubtful against Cirstea but if she is fit enough to win that she would be favourite in her next two matches) but it was not evident in her last match.

Am I missing something? I'm not aware of Cirstea having religious (or other) objections to playing at the weekend. Smiley

Other possibly relevant information, Cirstea has a 4-3 record over Jankovic including a win on clay a month ago. This match is on grass. Cirstea is having a return to form after a couple of years in the rankings wilderness. She is currently ranked 97 whilst Jankovic is 25. Jankovic is as temperamental as ever.
