This is a very interesting market.  Anyone got any views on it?

Thiem has an amazing little section for his first three rounds

   Thiem (Aut)   v   Mayer (Ger)
Vesely (Cze)   v   Sijsling (Ned)
Saville (Aus)   v   Novikov (US)
Tursunov (Rus)   v   Sousa (Por)

The other seed Sousa can be backed at 2000/1 for thr tournament.

By contrast Wawrinka has Fritz and Del Potro, two very dangerous unseeded players.

Other players towards the top of that market will meet in the third round

EDIT, looked down the list further, Mayer at 66, we are taking a flyer that he can beat Thiem again, but he has had some terrific grasscourt form this season.

Thiem has entered a rich vein of form. He's just won a 250 Series tournament on grass in Stuttgart. The problem is that all of this is already factored into his number 8 seeding and his 7/2 or 3/1 price for this section of the draw. But then I'd rather take that price than the 9/4 or 2/1 offered for Wawrinka, who he's beaten earlier this year (on clay in Madrid).

Yeah - that's a nasty first round draw for Thiem.

I can't make my mind up about Stan at the prices but tiem is making the market for me.  He is way too short.  I am tempted to take on the front odds at odds on coupled given how bad Stan was at queens but he has decent previous at Wimbledon.

Agree with this sentiment.  Market leaders in this quarter are all too short for me.

Front two it should read obviously. I couldn't put anyone off backing del pot, berd and the young German who drilled Fed at Halle coupled at the best prices.  If you don't mind backing a real short one then stick wawr in as well for a four way coupled coup!

Stan couldn't have asked for an easier quarter really given the dangerous rags floating about!

There's another sixes maths bet on the West Indies v Australia Tri Series final later.

Betting under 12.5 at 4/6 with C0ral and then over 9.5 at 1.87 with 888/UB means an ROI of -11.88% but there is a nice middle of 10, 11 and 12 sixes to scoop both bets.

Hopefully the unders firm will hold the price/line for longer here as this is an international. Over 9.5 is also offered by PP at 1.80.

Nicely placed at the half-way stage here as Australia posted 270 and hit 5 sixes.

Morning Tighty.

With tennis roaring into profit I feel we have to have some Wimbledon bets. The bet I like best for today is Sela to beat Ferrer. I know that Ferrer has recently beaten him, on grass too, but I think it is closer than the odds imply. They both recently got beaten by Seppi, with only Sela taking a set off him. I think the days of Ferrer being a force have passed and Sela could take this and get their head to head score to 2-2.

Suggest £20 Sela @ 15/4 with victor or bwin.

Tighty.

Can we clarify this wimbledon bet on Williams before 11?  Tikay passed it to you.

Given I was 2nd I will assume that you have no bet with me if you don't answer before 11.

Cheers
