one of my best mates has been a full time caddie, all be it lower level for years. he was very successful on the senior tour working with carl mason for 4 or 5 seasons.
he then moved to the challenge tour with various people, and has now settled with jack senior, and i am chuffed for him that last week they qualified for the open. neither of them have ever played a major, they missed qualification last year by one shot. spoke to mate last night and he says that links course is very suited to his game. he is presently in denmark where he is sat in 3rd place after two rounds of 67, so showing decent form in last competition before the open.
suggest a small banzai at 750/1 if any of you are looking for a few huge price small stakes each way bets.

Is it worth waiting to get more places offered nearer the time? Everywhere's just 5 atm and I doubt these odds will shorten Good luck to him!

i know bugger all about sports betting or golf .
how many places are likely to be offered nearer to the start?
if he won in denmark would the price shorten?
thanks for advice i will look out for any extra places over next few days, would go nuts if he somehow got 6th when i have 5 places.
obviously very unlikely to make a run but never say never.

Five-place gearbox grid penalty for Rosberg, Mercedes say. "Left rear top wishbone failed after unusually high load at full throttle"
lets see if Hamilton can capitalise for our bet

Don't think fred has to get involved overly on this given the Muz position but i can't help thinking Djok is a lay at 3.1 for the men's title. Based on his match price 2-0 down he will be 1.8 (4/5) if he wins today. That was his price pre event and literally no one with a chance of winning the event has been knocked out so far and most have breezes through so far with little strain on the body in a cramped schedule next week rest will be an issue. Given he is 2-0 down he clearly isn't on top of his game right now. Don't really understand why he is the price he is tbh.

Any love for Italy tonight. I'd make them favourites on tournament form so far. I've not been impressed by this Germany team. I wasn't that impressed with them in qualifying either. I think Conte has it in him to set his team up to frustrate the Germans and nick a goal on the counter. If the Germand oen up to get back in the match I think the Italians can pick them off.
I've had a dabble at 3/1 also had a really speculative dart at -1 @ 9/1

All the practice sessions so far in F1 & FE have been a bit mad for various reasons. The only additional bet I have to suggest is: Austrian GP - Race Winner - Nico Hulkenberg @ 66/1 with 366. Suggest £5 EW. Simulations suggest various scenarios where Nico could take the win this weekend. http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/austrian-grand-prix/winner

Seems the Eclipse has gone a bit wrong for us. Ground is firming up, so we need a thunderstorm or two. We probably still get a bit of value on the place price, but the win price we have is pretty terrible.
Nobody 3 Places for the grand prix either. We had a good run.
Western Hymn had one of his off days and was even beaten by one of the pace makers.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/nba-championship/winnerRecommend £50 on the NY Knicks at 66/1 if we can get on at sportingbet. This is a punt and could look very stupid next year if the Knicks perform as badly as usual. Briefly they are in the weaker Eastern Conference and have signed a couple of potentially big, but injury risky, free agents from the Bulls. Rose and Noah. If they stay fit (big if) this team could take off. Wade is also potentially interested in joining them from the Heat as he can't get paid what he is worth from the Heat. 66/1 is just too big. Would much prefer 25/1 or 33/1 to win the East but there is no Eastern conf betting yet.
