https://m.oddschecker.com/m/golf/open-championship/top-scandinavianBMU are doing 3 places 1/5 on top Scandi. With stenson odds on, we can have a good dirty EW bet here. Lingmerth is best priced . This crushes the machine (6.6/1) I've had £10 EW and recc the same for Fred.. Would have more but his record/form is not that great. Seems a decent spot, no?

Probably a great spot, but we really need to preserve our few remaining & fully functioning accounts, so if it's genuinely "dirty", Fred will have to swerve it.

Top Scandinavian 8/1 3 places 1/5th odds but you have to finish ahead of Olesen who is a very capable player on this type of course and the same could be said of Kjeldsen, assuming stenson is locked in for one of the top 3 spots. What do you think of taking 7/1 top Swedish player but only 2 places 1/4odds In comparison? On paper you have 3 rags in a 6 runner field and eliminate the two Danish players.

SDS got a lovely book of rides today for his comeback. Plenty of short priced jollies.

Wouldn't look at this market if it was top 2. It was only the 3 places offered by BMU that interested me. @ Tikay - it a sub market but it is the biggest golf tourney going so not a proper dirty EW spot. Just good EW terms. FWIW they've teed off now and my boy has slipped to +2 after a good start.

Still a bit of 1-2 around. Doubt it'll be there come the end of the day.

Funny how punters have taken the 1/2 today but like you said nothing has changed since the weekend as Moore hasn't had a ride this week so nothing changed really since weekend but punters are so slow/uneducated about this and only react today.

The top seventy players and ties make the cut at The Open and that cut currently stands at even par after today's first round*.
What do we think the actual half-way cut will be at the close of play tomorrow?
I reckon it''ll be +4 as the forecast is for fairly heavy rain and ~20mph winds, or slight drizzle and moderate zephyrs as the locals might say.
*not quite complete.

SDS just had a 1.01 'winner' which wasn't a winner! Colour mix up between an horse. Wasn't even placed and the comm didn't even call the wrong horse either! Luckily he has 2 winners already tonight so it softens the blow of me thinking he had a treble!

Evening Tighty.
Could we have £20 on Juan Monaco to beat Fognini in the Davis cup match between Italy and Argentina please. Fognini is far from the player he was a couple of years ago and that form seems to be what it has been priced up on .
£20 Monaco @ 7/5 with betvictor.

chris wood withdrew from the open yesterday, late in the first round
Other two bets we have Harrington -1 and Lee +7
so a pretty poor day really for the few positions we have this time

Pablo Cuevas is through to tomorrow's semifinal after beating Pierre Mathieu 7 - 6 6 - 1. He will face the winner of the Kohlschrieber/Olivo match being played later on. Olivo would be the opponent of choice.
