I'll put up one (potentially two) for Wed v Bristol tonight. I think we should stake small on City/Wednesday and City/Draw on /FT, they are 28/1 and 16/1.

We still seem to be struggling to get going early and results this season have showed that, not once leading at half time, so looks like the same old from last season. City look a decent team and fully expect Wednesday to not be wining at half time

Wasn't on myself but top tipping Aaron

Very good Aaron.  How is Abdi getting on?

3-2 last minute winner for Wednesday. 28/1 winner. Well done Aaron.

Abdi unused sub.

I couldn't get down tonight - Abdi struggling at the moment. Been played on left though. Needs to play in free central role I think?

Absolutely.  Poor old Abdi left because Flores played him out wide.  If you play him central he will be excellent in Championship.  Who has that spot for you currently?

Barry Bannan and Keiran Lee. Plus David Jones ex Burnley, Wolves.

Manager struggling to fit the players into the right system.

Strange when you have Forestieri and Abdi on the bench for a home game. Our two most creative players on paper.

Well you won tonight against a good Bristol team but I would think it should be Abdi behind Fessi and Fletcher and then build the rest around that.

Tikay,

How far is your nearest Hills ?

Smiley

Hi Lisa,

Not seen one in my locale, but I shall be passing one somewhere up in the grimy north tomorrow morning, though it is some 220 miles from home.

Is Fred on the Singapore GP bets ?

Not as far as I know, Lisa.

I think we ought to get on though, along the lines suggested by Doobs.

Think we should go the whole hog, & get on Perez, Bottas, Button & Alonso.

Just need Tighty to give his seal of approval. If need be, I can get to a WH emporium today whilst I am up in the grim wastelands of Leeds today.

Tighty also suggested Vettel was value, & I think we should do that, too. We can do that Online, presumably.

Once Peter arrives with another raft of bets, we should have every eventuality covered.

I got maxed so I can't do it.  May as well just put it up and let people get on if they see fit.

I don't watch the championship much, but what price would you say Barnsley should be for promotion?  Stars are 25/1 right now, which seems pretty generous to me.  Their manager seems to have a very good record and they are certainly in from right now.  I know it is a long way to go and all that.  They could finish as low as 6th and you'd still get a sweat.

FWIW Newcastle now evens, so was checking for each way opportunities and there wasn't really any big ones, but I realised I didn't even need to do the win bet with Barnsley.

Any love for Brentford away to Villa? 9/2 in spots, Villa won 1/5 at home, And in bad form 6 points from 6 games lots of pressure.

Brentford poor away but Beat Brighton away at weekend, confused at price.

Microscopic chance, as it was Tighty that places the bet, but might be worth double checking the chess bet went south, as China won the women's event. It'd be a great time to have done a misclick.

The men ended joint 11th (on tie break 13th), although only one drawn match away from equal 4th.

The USA won on an amended Sonneborn-Berger tie break system that even the players struggled to follow. For most of the day, no one seemed quite sure who was winning and, in the end, the match was decided by a win on one board by Germany, who finished 37th.

http://en.chessbase.com/post/tie-break-system-decides-olympiad

Only chess players could come up with a tie break system this convoluted. It's like Duckworth-Lewis with the powerplay overs taken out.

Oh and tikay, you asked about young Fiorina Berezovsky. She won 2 of the 5 games she played and got a 1296 rating performance, which far exceeds her 1096 rating. The kid done good.

Just like to say how much I loved your chess reports Tal. Great to see a passion for something coming across.

Am I the only person who thinks Feyenord are a decent bet to beat United tonight? I was completely unimpressed with United v City, and their route one approach when they needed a goal was laughable. Add in the changes to the team, how unimportant this competition is to them and  I really like the 7/2 for Feyenord.

No, ran out of time. Intended to do so on the way back, but arrived at the Station just minutes before the Class 43 hauled was due to leave, did not want to miss that & get the next one, which is Class 91 hauled.

Can get it sorted in the morning though.

Am going to do Bottas, too, but can keep that for myself if Fred does not want it.

£10 EW on each one?
