I think the crowd are out of order with the noise on key doubles in matches. I don't mind the chanting etc but during a shot at a double i think the ref should step in and demand the best of order. These guys are playing for huge money (and ranking points). Just because the crowd buy the tickets doesn't mean they have the right to act however they choose imo.
Regarding Gurney not applauding the crowd after his win i quite like that because it would have been false and results orientated if he did. I think he likes the idea of being the new Manley.

Needs a pair of Mervyn King ear-plugs for future matches.
Good on him for not applauding the crowd imo - why would you clap that shower? Half the time they're not even watching and the rest of the time they're singing that god awful 'don't take me home' nonsense.

356 are still EW a third on the darts.
They're basically offering 11-12 about Anderson making the final. Which is a 4-9 shot. Incred.

And hardly given up anything on the win price either. We only got a small interest on him already £200 ew at 6/1. Reckon we should be topping up Chomps?

If anyone is around and watching us destroy the New Govan FC get piled in on Celtic. 3/4 in numerous places. The rangers are without Lee Wallace and sky are thinking they are going 3 at the back. If they do the front 5/6 of Celtic will take 3 or 4 at least off them.
There is a massive gulf in class between the two teams. Celtic have Sinclair back and he is fully fit which is massive.

Each way bandits will love the 12:10 at Newbury.
11 runners, 5 of which are 150/1 or more. Jolly 6/5.
Shouty red man is 1/4 odds.

You would think that a legendary 'chaser such as Mandarin would have a better race in his memory than a class 3 handicap with £11.6K ftw.

About to sign off for the evening.
Happy new year to all TfT posters, tippers and lurkers
Will have some 2016 stats tomorrow once we draw a line on the spreadsheet tonight.
In the meantime, to repeat something tikay said the other day. It would be great to see former posters (for whatever reason) pop back in 2017, to give us some more breadth of ideas and opportunities to beat the markets. We'd love everyone to let bygones be bygones.

With Emre Can coming into the side to play alongside Hendo, Wijnaldum seems set for a far more attacking role than usual like he did at Newcastle where he scored loads of goals last season.
This is not really reflected in his FGS price - especially on betty where he's 27!
Recommend a sporty Lady Godiva at that price.

I've had some fun bets on the correct score, given both sides must win to be still in the title race and both make the Cleveland Browns defense look like Fort Knox.
Nigel Seeley tipped this on the Matchbook podcast in the week, suggesting a few interest bets on 3-2, 3-3, 4-3 and so on. Prices are 25/1 and up, with 4-4 a whopping 200/1.
BMU and Scuy are the best bookies prices, so not great for Fred, although I'd expect there would be some good prices on betfair.
Good home for a tenner if you spread a few £2 bets about.
And happy new year to everyone.
