Apologies for the short notice on this one, but that'll nearly always be the case for Formula E with the entire race event taking place over one day.

Suggest £25 for Sam Bird @ 5/1 with Sky Bet for those who can. Only bookie offering odds I'm afraid.

How's Rosenqvist looking for the title?

A disappointing point for us, for Stoke at Anfield

They now need 4 points to stand a chance of staying up, with two games to play

Palace at home, Swansea away

Swansea, 3 points and +9 goal difference ahead of them, have four games left

Swansea have

Chelsea h
Bournemouth a
Southampton h
Stoke h

Tranmere play their final game on sat. They are assured 2nd place and a playoff spot no matter the result.

Similar situation to last year when on the final day of the season Micky Mellon fielded the youth team to preserve for the play offs

On Tues we were home v solihull moors - a team we beat 9-0 last year - Mellon put out  a chunk of the youth team and lost 2-1.

Tranmere have been playing a sat - Tues schedule recently due to postponed fixtures so it's likely he will rest players again, and we may see another run out for the youth team.

Their opponents hartlepool are 17/4. That does somewhat reflect the likelihood of players being rested, but Mellon has form for literally playing his youth team pre play offs

Might be worth a small bet

Great shout many thanks.Other half is booking a last minute break as i type due to this.

Cheers again

haha, nice!

this came in, but not quite as planned.

mellon went against type and played a near full team.

but with a single home game between them and wembley they simply didnt put in a full performance and so the bet came home anyway

How's Rosenqvist looking for the title?

In 3rd place, 61 points behind the leader (Jean-Eric Vergne) with a possible 116 available. Unlikely at this stage. It's a shame because he's the quickest and most talented driver in the field, but his own immature driving has let him down this year.

Results from today:
- Vettel got pole in F1.
- Bird didn't win the ePrix. Finished 3rd with three wheels though, which is somewhat impressive.

Worth keeping an eye on Burnley's odds for relegation next season?

I know Dyche is the slam dunk manager of the season, but they don't really have the squad depth (as it stands) to deal with Sunday-Thursday scheduling coming next year. Being solid at the back is kinda masking their severe lack of goals, should anyone swoop for their decent defenders then you wouldn't be surprised to see them struggling in the lower half next season. Despite them having a great campaign, there isn't a huge difference between coming 7th and fighting relegation, just ask Southampton! Thinking the odds might be skewed but shall wait and see....

Their season is gonna start at the end of July with the Europa qualification so it could be a long slog in 18/19 for them.

Good shout I think, if a nice price gets put up.
Although I don't really think any of their defenders are like Micheal Keane of last year where big clubs will be sniffing around, so I don't see much danger there of them losing players. Possibly either Pope or Heaton, who both look very good but obviously they'll keep one of them so should be fine there.
They have been pretty unlucky this year too with injuries. Jonathon Walters, who could have been a decent squad player got injured right at the start and missed the whole season. Robbie Brady is a genuine creative outlet that they lost for the season before Christmas. Defour as well, just after Christmas. So there is 3 'new signings' for the start of next year.
Presumably they'll have money to spend with European football boosting their coffers but there is always a bit of luck needed with new transfers. Chris Wood and Jack Cork (their 2 major signings) both have done very well. They made a transfer fee profit last year and improved the side, you can't do that every year.
An interesting one to keep an eye on the price for sure.

All the firms know how poor Burnley have been xG wise this year and that they shouldn't be where they are.  You won't be getting fancy prices about them going down next season beleive me.  The Europa league is just another negatiive.

People think they are going to get 20/1+ like Soton were last year when they finished top half.  You will do well to get 6/1 i reckon.

Wolves and two of Cardiff/Fulham/Villa/Mboro probably coming up.  If Cardiff don't come up somehow then the three coming up are all proper clubs.  Huddersfield go down with Swansea (Unlikely i know) Burnley could easily be much shorter than that.  With Europa league and an early start to the season is just an added pressure.

Think Mir a good bet to iron out OAP Fedor, Bergeroo?

Was talking to a mate last night when they weighed in, and Mir weighed in at 260! With abs Cheesy

Obviously juiced to the gills, and Fedor has looked about as good as I would in the cage, over the last few fights.

6-1 was the price that sprung in to my mind for Burnley too.

If Huddersfield scrape through this time, they'll take a chunk out next season. Probably around evens.
