Ricciardo is already on his last engine right? had 2, limit reduced this year to 3

had two gearboxes too?

so grid penalties are a certainty?

(might argue that they are for everyone else too)

he had 70 places of grid penalties last year

so that accounts for 25/1?

Yep, you called it. Feel that 25/1 is too high with the decreased limit to three power units. Most teams will struggle, and suffer grid penalties. I do expect Daniel to be in the hunt at the end of the season.

I think if anyone is pricing Burnley up at 8/1+ next season for relegation then that would be a must bet, depending on what happens in the summer of course. Despite the extra £££ they could pocket from Europa League, I don't see them splashing too much cash around.

There really is very little between being the 'best of the rest' by coming 7th, and fighting relegation. Just remains to be seen how the bookies view it when the odds come out....

I don't agree.   Seems fairly clear that Burnley have been underated by the bookies all season.  Firstly because they are Burnley, and secondly because of the xG stat.  I'd be surprised if the bookies switch the other way for next season.   xG isn't the only thing in the models and it seems that people put too much emphasis on it now it is everywhere.

I heard a phone-in a few weeks ago just after Sam Allardyce had said something along the lines of a point was a good result vs Burnley, and realistically it was for a team that looked in serious relegation danger a couple of months previously.   There was a stream of Everton fans screaming he should go for his lack of ambition, as it was just Burnley ffs.   As long as that is a widely held view, and it seems that way from where I sit, it is hard to see Burnley going off too big for relegation.

As you say, we can wait on the prices, but will be surprised if I'd rather be a backer than a layer.

Give me a realistiic price doobs for them to go down that suits us both to lay and i will have a bet.  I know some people like you who think Burnley are close to 50/1 to go down next year.   It is a very diverse opinion.

When did I mention 50/1?  Absolute joke that you choose to misrepresent me so badly.   I will lay you the best price Burnley are the Saturday before the season starts to lose £500.  Whatever it is we are both stuck with it.  cheers

Sunrisers Hyderabad have done it again, the T20 masters at defending a total, however big or small

Another masterclass from Williamson in the field. Left field bowling option Pathan breaks the key partnership and just let Rahane tick along at under the RRR.

Sorry my point was some people i speak to like you think Burnley can't go down next year and make them 50/1.  They have similar views to you and make them 50/1 to go down.  I didnt mean to imply that you had quoted any price on them going down.  My bad.  I was interested in your price to go down given your views.  You don't have to lay antthing you don't want to obviously but if you do we maybe could do some busniess.

I had a small bet on mir as marathon price was out of line but no idea really. Clearly he is on the juice and seems in shape but he hasn't fought for two years. Really depends on who has the most pride. Both are bring paid well but who will really push themselves?

Same as that, so thought I'd try to paying for my 226 tickets Cheesy

Not sure what Fedor has been doing for the last couple could be considered fighting, either.

Super tactics from Mir, ffs.
Running towards your opponent with your chin out confirmed as not a smart strategy in combat sports!

Indeed Cheesy

Lots of re-evaluation to do tonight after that race, learned a lot there.

Raikkonen did get a podium, but Ricciardo didn't win the race.
