Regarding daily mail it is irrelevant where it comes from if it is a quote. A newspaper isn't going to make up a direct quote. Arbboy can get the quotes from elsewhere if it really bothers people but that seems a waste of time frankly.

Not talking about this particular situation (I haven't read the quotes being talked about), but the tabloids DO make up quotes, they DO quote people out of context so that the meaning is warped beyond all recognition, and they often omit any quotes that go against the agenda they have behind their article.  It's naiive to think they don't.

Sure but the vast majority of corporate statements like this one are mass press released from their to all the news outlets at the same time.

Once again these are not new statements, it is no coincidence either that they have been regurgitated on the day that the Westminister heavyweights arrived in Scotland.  To err engage with voters.

ok, but how many jobs go with them?

it can't be seen as a positive for Yes can it?

as i said earlier, their balance sheets are too big to be supported by an Independent Scotland

He doesn't care, he's only interested in his sound bytes that will help gain the yes vote at all costs.

When you canvass RBS and Lloyds employees do you tell them you are pleased to see their companies move south?

I have read reform Scotland's website. I type in those to google and all I find is yes campaign links and nothing from reform Scotland. Can you link exact articles confirming or is this just lazily sharing yes slurs

At a guess a few hundred from their head offices.  But many more jobs will be created.

I don't see companies lining up to move to Scotland if independence happens, most likely the other way.

Maybe this was the No campaign's plan all along for the Yes vote to get all the early momentum then run out of steam.  Seems like a big shift today against the Yes vote.  The sheer numbers of major employers in Scotland coming out in favour of no vote today has to send a message of reality to the yes voters to their jobs/businesses and the overall economy.
