I was just thinking he is doing a lot of interviews for someone that wants to remain anonymous.

This one could be a cracker.  We should run a fantasy league for the next 9 months.

Make front cover of Mail = 2 points
Avoid question in interview more than five times = 3 points
Say "Romanian" more than three times in single interview = 4 points
Get caught telling an absolute porker in interview = 5 points
Win a televised debate = 10 points
Call member of electorate either "bigot" or "racist" = 20 points
Punch member of electorate = 50 points

Particularly interesting when the early post referendum polls suggested that about 90% of the 16-17 year old bracket voted yes

I don't know how many actually did vote so it might not affect that statistic by much though.

Saw this good article on the Referendum, and just wanted to share the quote below.

http://www.newleftproject.org/index.php/site/article_comments/buying_time_after_the_scottish_referendum

The readiness with which the language of ‘traitors’ and ‘quislings’ circulated and was used by the fringes of the ‘Yes’ campaign against their opponents should have been a sobering warning sign for the decent majority of the independence movement, but amid the hurly burly of the campaign seems to have been simply brushed off as all part of a rich tradition of high spirited and robust political exchange. For the avoidance of doubt, it is not, and should have been loudly and clearly repudiated if the ‘Yes’ campaign wanted to be heard by the widest possible audience.

The 90% number for under 19s came form an Ashcroft poll that only had a sample of 14 of that age group

Was only a matter of time and will certainly make the SNP more appealing to those on the left.

Scottish Labour Leader Johann Lamont steps down with immediate effect this evening.  Rumours that she was unhappy with the way the party was going.

She's too loyal and too invested in Labour imo to break rank and give anything up on the referendum.  Its also suggested that Labour Leader in Glasgow City Council Gordon Matheson is to step down and Lamont's husband is a contender in that race, Good old Archie Graham.

Interesting to see who steps up and takes over the reigns rumours in the last few weeks suggest Gordon Brown or Jim Murphy could be asked to take on the role.  Both aren't very popular with Labour at Westminister.   From a Scottish angle the one that strikes me as being ambitious enough and who has the ego to crave the ower is Jackie Baillie.  From a betting perspective thats were I will be looking to when the market opens up.
