Sad news for Arsene.
With is obsession with his job, he must be a difficult man to be married to. Not sure they have lived together for some time, think she stayed in Monaco after he moved to Arsenal, & he lives in London.

Mention is made in the story of one Sonia Tatar. Thereby hangs a very interesting tale which will need to wait for another day.

Pains me to agree with Jose, but he's right.

Retaliation is now allowed apparently.
He's too much pot calling the kettle black for me. It's not OK to do what Costa did providing you don't get caught, yet he seems OK with Costa's role in all this.

Alexis’ lack of firepower is hampering Arsenal’s title pursuit

hardly surprising considering been playing non stop for 2 years
Wenger seemed to bottle actually giving him a 4 week break as he said after their slow start

In absolutely no way am I condoning Costa. He deserves longer than 3 games.
But Gabriel kicked out at him, in what world is that not violent conduct?

In fairness it's hard to give him a worthwhile break as Alexis always wants to play.
When he came back in he was already really fit as he'd been training on the beach during his "holidays" which is why he featured on the bench almost immediately.
He's been a shadow of his real self so far this season and even in the Copa America the Chilean fans were disappointed with his form for most of the tourney.

Sympathising with Mourinho isn't the right phrase, but I do think he's right to say they've condoned retaliation.

This is a really well-written piece on what it's like as an away fan for the NLD.

Stamford Bridge and Upton Park are very similar for spurs fans. Birmingham away was a tough fixture too, when they were in the prem.
I suppose the connection with those three teams and Spurs was the prominent "firms", which wasn't really there at arsenal, at least to the same degree. Still too many daft'uns reliving former "glories".
Those who ripped up the hoardings with Sir Billy Nick's quote on it won't have helped this lad's quest for a quiet trip, though.

Some very clever editing resulting in Wenger and Mourinho talking about each other:

It seems a little odd that Gabriel now gets suspended and fined for complaining about a red card that should never have been given and has since been rescinded.
Meanwhile it's business as per usual this weekend for Captain Cockup aka Mike Dean.
