how many years left on his contract?  Can't imagine he would go for more than £15m tops.

hes 26, this seems like an absurd estimate in todays footballing world. 25-30 would be my guess.

His stock has fallen a lot though.  Can't imagine anyone paying £25 million and matching his wages?

That is the key thing alongside the number of years left on his contract, the wages.  Of the clubs who could afford his wages hardly any of those teams would want him imo.

If Arsenal lose Walcott and buy Cech, Williams and Milner would you consider that a good summer?

Who is your number 1 transfer target?

3rd instead of what looked like a certain 2nd. Disappointing? Realistically will you challenge for the PL next year?

3rd is exceptional, as the Boss is bound to have had 4th as his target.

I genuinely think the players are outplaying the instructions/coaching/management and hope to see this continue next year.

Carzorla has been magnificent, and I now worry about staories he wants to go back to Spain.

Giroud has annoyed me, as last couple of games he has strolled around like a player suffering the effects of a long season. When you didn't return until after Xmas, he shouldn't already be "on the beach".

It will be a sad day if Cech is the height of our aspirations for a new long term goalie, great keeper as he is.

I feel we can build on this year, but if we don't spend it will probably still mean we are looking at 4th at best, as others progress around us.

I really do think Arsenal are so close. Coquelin has changed everything imo, and the results (bar the last 2 which were arguably bad luck) have been exceptional since he's been in the team. Makes me wonder why Arsene was so stubborn about bringing in a DM all these years since Song left.

I think with Schneiderlin and some striker (i dunno who though) to compete with Giroud then i really think it's within Arsenals and Arsene's means to do it. Milner isn't really neccesary though i like him. And i think Ospina/Shez fighting it out will be beneficial enough for the team not to need Cech, though i would love to see him join too ofc.

Have said time and again Walcott should be played as a last man/centre forward. Gets his chance, and proves it.

Lets hope our great leader gives him a chance at it again next year.

My money is on him selling him.

I actually completely agree, Adz. What is it Wenger sees in Walcott that makes him think "he plays a similar wing forward role to the young Henry but he won't make it as a striker"?

If he goes, he'll end up as a Michael Owen out-and-out somewhere else.

Just like Owen at BT Sport one assumes.

He really is a genius.  If he signs til 2020, which he must be odds on to do, he will have played 14 years at Arsenal and scored 50 goals in 208 games in the first 9 years.  He must have made the best part of £40m already out of the club already and he is only 26!  Quite incredible  for his record.   Makes Rooney on £300k a week look cheap goal for goal, trophy for trophy!

38 England caps and 5 goals.  Not much better than Joe Cole.  How did Sven sell this kid to the masses 9 years ago?  Is he on 20% of his career earnings?

Great performance by all of the lads today, hard to pick a MOTM.

Wonderful to see the real Arsenal turn up on the big stage and play our best stuff.
