thats not the case.
He injured his back on a beach in Dubai on Monday, on a pre-season Spartak Moscow tour
Arrived at Arsenal yesterday, told the club he felt discomfort
sent for a scan which revealed a back injury
that's not the case either
we signed him knowing full well he was injured for 4 weeks. I guess it was so late in the day we thought some cover later in the season was better than nothing
the ox looked good slotting in CM on Sunday anyway

At this point last year we were in 6th place with 38 points.
This year we are in 1st place with 55 points.
Spectacular progress by any standards yet still some Arsenal fans are moaning.

At your age you should be keen that we push home this advantage and not let it ride.
You may not have that many seasons left

This is, of course, standard behaviour for football fans of all clubs.
The cries of 'Fergie should go now' and 'Giggs is too old' rang out as the 2006 season began...
It feels very wrong to be saying this, but I do hope you win the league this year (that would be the least bad outcome from my perspective)

Fans like winning stuff. The prospect of a champions league quarter final exit gets a bit boring after a while (I imagine).

Very happy with today's respective line-ups.
On paper...

Starting to look terribly familiar isn't it.
Our lack of depth, because Wenger wont spend, is catching up with us and was woefully highlighted again last night, when he can't even play our ONLY recognised striker(I refuse to call Bendtner a player).
He blames the fans because some say we play Giroud every game and he needs a break....yes, but vs Hull, or Norwich, not bloody Bayern Munich.
What is wrong with the man?
Its almost like he doesnt want us to win.
Really, come on guys, even the die hard Wenger Boys like Ralph and Tikay must see this isn't right?
It occurs to me, Wenger won't spend because at the end of every season, although we haven't won everything, by not spending he can point to the fact we are still profitable, to make up for his inadequacy.
Then he claims he didnt see the Szczęsny gesture after the sending off.
Deja Vu chaps?

What happened with Draxler? I thought that was one where, like Ozil, you'd spend the extra to bring in a player who would do a really important job for you. Really reckoned that was one where you'd break the bank again, which is essentially what you need to do to stand a realistic chance of performing well across the whole season. It's the squad depth that seems to hurt you every year. You are still one point off the topof the league!
Over in my end, it's been a lack of quality that's done us, but your lot have always found ways to maximise the potential of the squad. That has to be Wenger. He's an alchemist. But so many years without silverware has to be looked at at some point. Last night was getting beaten by a better side. It's still not out of the question if you score first at the Allianz.
Out of interest, who would you want to be brought in? The popular choices (Mourinho and Guardiola) are unavailable and there are a few managers who would be in the A-/B+ bracket. Who would you bring in, Adz?

Seriously, in an ideal world, I would leave/have Wenger as our coach, and someone else as a typical Manager.
It will never happen though.
Simeone perhaps? His suave Latino look would be a fresh new outlook for the Arse!

Oh, well if we're opening
that
door, I think George Graham is out of work atm
Seems to me Guardiola was the most suitable candidate because his football would be building on how you guys like to play. Van Gaal?
