That does not exactly get the engine revving.

Wenger loves collecting £12-£15m players who are massively over rated.

Assume you mean "who he over rates"?  Not sure anyone else except Fergie has ever over rated Smalling.

Yes course.  They are the only two that matter though as they pay the wages and sign the contracts.

Who he feels could come good and if they don't, no big disaster. In fact i can think of a few recent success stories who have come to Arsenal recently for around or less than these figures.

With Theo and his people playing their cards close to their chest re. signing a new deal the possibility of him leaving in the summer is not that unlikely imo, as I'm sure he's not going to be offered more that the £100k pw he is said to be currently on.

How much would Walcott go for in today's market?

While we're on the subject how much would Wilshere or Ramsey cost in the unlikely event that they were to become available?

Wenger has wasted Walcott, and I fear he is on the same road with The Ox.

I know he has had his share of injuries but its a sad day when as of last week

Walcott 116 League appearances for Arsenal

Mertasacker 117..........

Any offers for Mertasackershit?

There is an unresolvable problem here.
The English FA and the EPL don't have the same objectives.
The FA wants the best England team. So they want a high proportion of English players playing in the EPL, which dilutes the standard of the EPL. I think in the EPL it's about 35% homegrown, in Spain + Germany it's 60%. That's a big disadvantage right there.
The EPL wants the best EPL players, who are mostly non English. So this dilutes the standard of the England team. The EPL doesn't give a damn about the English football team. What % of owners of EPL teams are even English?

I noticed Giroud has sneaked to joint top Arse scorer. With any luck he can nick some place money in the Golden Boot. An extraordinary performance considering how long he was out.

Turned into a very decent recruit.

Another great day for the team.

How less shaky would we look if we could replace Mertasackershit with.....well anyone?!

I would love to see a camera on him all game. I know I have a thing about it, but as I sat with my Liverpool mates, who know about my "fetish", even they were laughing as they homed in on his tracking back to the 18 yard box every attack, then half running away looking to pretend to cover A N Other attacker rather than stick his boot in, on the advancing man.

There was also one riotous moment in the pub when he did actually win a tackle, but he had gone in and stuck his leg out in a similar vein to a man putting an arm into a piranha tank, eyes closes and a fearful look on his face.

We are getting there, slowly, but instead of chasing blokes like Sterling, that will give us nothing more than a larger wage bill, lets look to shore up our leaky defences a bit quicker, please.
