Cut price alternative?  If Grabban is worth 8 million then Ighalo must be worth 80.  In seriousness I think Watford would accept 25 million.  The pozzos won't get done over though.  Not sure he'd work that well at Arsenal though.  Reckon he'd make a huge difference to Man Utd.

It's happening.

Oh, and did I ever mention what I thought of Herr Mertasacker?

Pep, we need you more.

So when we don't win the title, despite being in a great position....again.....who do I blame, Ozil, Ramsey, Giroud?! I don't pick the great German clutz every week.

The manager of the German national team recognised PM had outstayed his welcome after he got 100 caps, and was surplus to requirements(too slow etc etc), about the same time as AW signed him up. Shrewd.

I reckon Per probably gets skinned once every 20 games or so, if that.  I don't recall him getting caught out very much at all from memory.

Disappointing result, and a shame we had to face a rejuvenated Chelsea now but it is what it is. The title is far from out of our reach and we've got some key players returning. Shake it off, aim a good response in our next few games.

Arsenals defence have been pretty solid with him in the team. And I don't know exactly when they signed him but it was way before the World Cup and his subsequent retirement

Yes yes. Sorry, I'm wrong. I must hallucinate each time I see him lumber around. My bad.

Isn't it amazing how some Arsenal "fans" only come to life after a poor result.

Especially if a player they don't like makes an error.

Ralph. I try to steer clear of you these days because you get all twisted if we don't all agree, , but if I can't have an opinion on my team without you having a dig, then you are fair game.

Your call.

Per is not great never has been

But he has been a major part of Arsenal having an excellent defensive record since he has arrived, must get credit for that.

He has also developed Laurent Kos massively imo

Opinions. All fine.

But don't say I'm not a 'fan' because I don't agree.

Bit pathetic really.

Isn't it part of being a fan that you are convinced you know better on a certain subject concerning your team than the people running the club and that you'll argue with any other fan about it when given the chance, but that, if a rival team fan says it, you'll call them a hater?

I spend most games shouting at Chadli, Lamela or Dembele. Plenty think they're good players and deserve to start. They all do my nut in. If two of them play, I assume we're going to struggle and I end up looking smug when I'm "proved right". Bit like saying "there's been a three on every flop today..."

Obviously, I cheer when they score and ignore everything I've said about them Cheesy. Great players.

Just part of being a fan as far as I'm concerned.
