If you're after a sophisticated, good mannered, mature evening - the darts isn;t for you...

Go with a load of your mates, wear stupid clothes, drink too much, scream and shout laddishly and garishly at pretty much anything, have some team bet, don't wear nice clothes or suede shoes and don't expect to actually see more than 10-15% of the actual darts games.

It's appallingly good fun, and the simple, rough, working class spirit is what makes it so much bloody fun!

God yeah - to be able to pull that performance out at 3-3 first time on the ally pally stage... got that Taylor/MVG streak in him where if you ever get a chance against him, and you don't take you just get the bottom of his boot in your face and you've no chance. The minute smith misses those two match darts against him that was it.

How lovely to see one of my fav players (Hendo) drill my least fav player (Gurney).  Xmas is going to be so much sweeter now knowing we don't have to see Gurney again after xmas.  Michael Smith is just so smooth.  What a game that was with him and Cross.  Incredible Smith has only made one tv semi final in his career so far when you see him play like that.

I really like Webster to beat Whitlock in the 2nd round.  I think Webster is still flying somewhat under the radar price wise.

Happy xmas darts fans.

Withdrawl symptoms!

What do we think of Dancing Dmitri vs Suljjovic rd3?

Suljovic not playing great but has the big stage mentality these days. I think VDB is going to be a top, top player and looks calm under pressure. Obviously not there yet but got the game I think?

Any value in Dmitri at 7/4?

If Snakebite doesn't turn up fully wound up after his lay off Webster must be eyeing a semi final berth with this draw.

Some game, this.

Snakey doing very well still to be in it.

Is that 3 bull finishes for Lewis now? Superb 121 for the set.

14/13 i think, which actually after the years he's had would be pretty well deserved.

Cross world #16 now, and I do feel like it'll be a while before we see him any lower Smiley

The Demolition man is doing a fine job of paying for xmas!  Long may it continue.  Was going to put up 6/4 he wins his quarter but the match had already started (thought it was a 115pm start).  Match over 4-0 by 130pm!

No 7/4 any more. Seems like it could be a close one.

Would have to have a shot at a PL place as well you would think if he semis. Given others in contention have flopped.
