Looking a head a couple of weeks to Paris-Roubaix on the 13th April.

Cancellara pretty much owns this race & at 9/4 looks about right.

Who's going to go close & take him on. Top of my list is Sep Vanmarcke. 2nd last year, this season is all about the cobbles & P-R. His form on the cobbles so far is better than anyone. 4th Omloop, 3rd KBK, & 5th E3 Harelbeke. At this moment I'd have him as 2nd favourite at around or . 10/1 in a few spots looks value to me & can only shorten.

OPQS certainly will have the strength in depth, but with Boonen not quite firing & a few niggling injuries. Who will step up? Terpstra, Stybar or Vandenbergh?

Will also be monitoring Taylor Phinney, had a few problems in recent weeks, but can still come good for P-R.

Today at G-W, looks to have found some good legs  Smiley

I think we'll know an awful lot more about who can bring the challenge to Cancellara at P-R after this weekend.  I've been very impressed with Stybar this season so far and expect to see him do a ride, completely agree with you about Sep Vanmarke, he'll definitely be in the mix, also don't rule out Geraint Thomas, he's had some bad luck so far this year but his underlying form is good.

Also a couple places offering 22/1 for a top 3 finish for Sebastian Turgot, as an outside bet, it's not a bad one given his recent performances in this race.

Was reading an interview with Matti Breschel recently, he's still coming back from injury but felt he might be close to full fitness for Paris Roubaix, if he is he's got a chance of a podium at a good price of 21/1

Gonna back an Omega Quickstep rider for Flanders, split between Terpstra and Stybar.  Have a feeling this year will be Stybar's big breakthrough so think I'll go for a few quid on him.

Watching that video, amazed that Vanmarke is only 25, I've been following his progress for what seems like ages and he's already better than most could ever hope to be, if not this year, he will definitely win a major race soon

Fabian Cancellara.

Watching the Spartacus interview I'm inclined to think he's on for the Flanders Roubaix double (again). Only bad luck stand in his way, or OPQS can tactically out fox him.

Over half the bets on betfair are on him, but at less than 2/1 not for me.
