TBH I was sorely tempted too but already have enough with you in match-bets.

You have 5/4 Grandouet v Hurricane Fly, I have 5/4 Zarkandar v Grandouet.

Both are £125/£100.

The win market for The Supreme on BF has been suspended for two days now.

Anyone got a clue why?

Interesting race on Monday if ROR, Darlan and Grandouet all run.

this is the time of year i have always missed out on backing winners because of my ante post positions. Mondays betting will prob be something like 7/4 darlan 7/2 grandouet 6/1 ROR not actually looked at the stength in depth of the race so those prices could be off. But since i have invested on grandouet for the CH i probably wont bet it on monday even though i think on good ground with a good pace grandouet is the better horse. im too scared of it running a stinker and doing both my bets in, if it wins it will shorten in the CH race and in my mind thats a mini victory anyhow. This month i will try to make every bet on its own merit.

Another incident of Jockey putting own interests ahead of owners.

Goulanes who won Grade 2 novice over 3 miles at first attempt over regulation fences, picking up well as stamina kicked in, looking like a good RSA prospect.

Tom Scu gets off and tells owner should only run in RSA if heavy, and go for 4miler.

with extra 2 furlongs and stiffer course at Chelts you would imagine having beaten a strong contender in Super Duty first time out, he would be all over the RSA.

Of course not, he has the fav in the race. Thankfully RB isnt one to be pushed about and will make his own mind up

The other point to take from this is that if it looks likely to be soft or worse Dynaste will run over shorter.

Agreed, didnt look comfortable today, and when tried over further over hurdles didnt perform as well.

Would rather get 2nd in the Arkle than nowhere in the Jewson!

Grandouet doesn't line up with Darlan an ROR at Donny tomorrow which is a shame.

On the plus side Countrywide Flame does so it should still make for an interesting race.
