Nice to see Rana & Roberto but not sure they were listening properly. I was stood with Rob last night and Rana asked if he could buy in at Wembley for £300. No Rana its £3000 to buy in???

Hugues Fournaise took this picture after the press conference and is stunning.

How much will it cost to hire a venue like wembley? How many players expected to make day 2? Why is wembley needed? Not really great to get to for rest of the country. Expensive travelling expensive digs. dire traffic, parking. I would have thought somewhere more central wud of been better....... maybe Nottingham

i know the answer to this but not sure what i can say. Edit if needed tighty.

hire in the region of a mill ball per week...week needed to set everything up
they need 1800 at E3000 to make £5 milli.... Rob expects 300 direct buy ins so needs 1500 sat qualifiers...thats 15000 E300 sat players
Wembley is an international stadium. SCRMG....Some Comp Round My Gaff does not really fit the bill... But i do take your point why build the greatest club on earth then give yourself a logistical headache by playing at Wembley

Jason, your posts are confusing the fack out of me mate.

From what I have read on here the direct buyin for Day One is about £200+ or something and can apparently direct buyin for Day Two? I have mis-read somehwere?

But as for "Why Wembley" - I think it goes without saying that's it's one or maybe the greatest stadium in the world. I would turn upto to London for a similar event if it was held at Loftus Road/Upton Park/WHL, etc.

Not really great to get to for rest of the country.

I never understand these comments, its got to be the most served destination in the country, there isn't a bad place when it comes to links to London.

Not to mention (and i am guessing here) around 1/3 people must live within 1.5hrs of london
