Alrighty we are off to gather the counts of the players you know and love, and some of those you don't know but will soon. I think I just got charged a tenner for a banana.

Incidentally, Marcel doesn't hold any of the highest denomination chips. Yellow chips are worth 1k, but his stack is entirely made up of 25s, 100s, and s single 500.
This is mainly because that Marcel continually refuses to give his opponents change. I think he likes to have a big stack in front of him, even its made up of lesser valued chips.
Perhaps he wants to try and scare people off or enhance his table image?
A worthwhile tactic?

I believe Marcel has the right to refuse unless the Tournament Director steps in. I think Big K would only stick his oar in if change was needed for blinds, antes, etc and Marcel's stack was the only source.

We spoke to Marcel about this at the airport and he has a few reasons for doing it.

Joe Hachem has made a comeback and now finds himself with a 16.5k stack.

Keep those food reports coming in, Jools. I'm a bit worried about your windy pops at the table tomorrow.
