Camping Ground was mighty impressive today and there's still bits of 33/1 for the Coral Cup which seems the obvious target.
Don't think he's going to Cheltenham, from what Moore said.
https://livestream.com/accounts/37624/events/7031763
Gravy train preview starting in a minute.
I read the article where GM says he'd like to save him for Aintree but I also read another previously saying the owner is keen on the stayers' but GM thinks that's a little too far for him. I'm obviously hoping(me and my 33/1 voucher that is) that they reach a compromise and go for the Coral as CG does like Chelters as do we all. Only twelve sleeps to go now..
I've had a pony on Peregrine Run @ 12/1 in that.
My adventure starts a couple days earlier, as I'm off to Gatwick on Sunday afternoon, and flying first thing Monday
Raise.
Flying to Vegas Saturday for a Concrete Machinery Exhibition next week, and decided to stay over for a couple of weeks, and will watch Chelts there. Proper week of degeneracy.

ConExpo- For Tikay.
Doubt a Sportsbook would show, but RUK downloaded onto laptop/Modbro. 4G on phone allows access to betting sites over there, so bar the atmosphere, and getting up at 5.30am to watch it, all angles covered.
Will miss being there for sure, but a lot of my regular crowd have started bring their kids(yound adults) along for a couple of the days. Great socially, but for the the purist not so good, as you miss market moves etc.
Will be interesting.

I am guessing you can watch at the wynn sportsbook. I watched bits of Ascot there. You need to get up early and there is no guarantee of a commentary, so you need to know your colours.

Even better, as staying there.

For the second year in a row I'll be watching Cheltenham from the warm surrounds of Perth, Australia. 22:30 - 02:30 with a few bottles of VB and Little Creatures. Already got more than the trip cost me laid out in ante-post bets so hopefully it'll be another profitable festival and the trip will pay for itself. Cantlow and On The Fringe the big winners for me.

I couldn't find it in my room, but if you go down to the sportsbook there are a whole bunch of sports channels you can scroll through. I guess you'd be able to plug some headphones in somewhere though i never tried. From memory you also get to watch all the crappy uk racing too, so if you have anything going at Catterick, you'll get to see that too.
When I was there, they had trotting on the big screen. No idea if they will switch for you. Guess it is possible, as there weren't many people there. Though guess you'd have to bet at crap prices in return.
Other upside is that the buffet queue isn't so bad at 8 if you have caught most of the decent races. Not sure if the sportsbook has moved, but the cafe used to be next door if you want coffee, pastries etc. Sure you can see market moves on your phone too, though I wouldn't be in a rush to try and bet on uk sites from there. Guess most will stop you anyway.

This struck me as being a bit like "Happy Wednesdays" in Hong Kong- they have a disco and a band that plays between the races and there is a lot of emphasis on selling you a hot dog, and less on the actual racing. It works great- I wonder what the horses make of it- they must hear the music in the stables, but then I wonder what the horses make of running around a field surrounded by skyscrapers.
The difference is that Happy Wednesday racing is basement stuff, not Royal Ascot.

Off to LV tomorrow, but thought I would just pop a few fancies down for Chelts
Very pleased to hear Hendo confirm Consul Du Thaix for the Coral Cup.
Have got some nice prices on West Approach for Potato race, Auvergnat for Cross Country, and Champers on Ice for Ultima(Pipe not even talking about it though. Who knows with him)
A "friend" has a small syndicate share in Imperial Eloquance, who could surprise in the Bumper.
Would love to see Traffic Fluide run in the Grand Annual.
Have a great Fest and GL.
