Now you've made me have a look as well - fun to try and solve these. I'll throw my hat in the ring with Gran Canaria Queen 16-1. Decent level of form and hope that draw may be a big help given the way the 5f race was won today by Orient Class going it alone up the stands rail. Good luck gents.

I got a big feeling we will expect a huge run today from Searchlight in the 1440 at Ayr. Up to 6furlongs today, will be held up and covered up to come late. Hopefully Spencer doesnt bury it deep up another nags behind and has one of his better rides. Was 16/1 earlier and represents a good each way bet and with a little luck in running today might be his day!

The 1510 is one on my follow list, Boris Grigoriev. Need everything to go right in this calvary charge but blinkers back on today and laid out for this! General 11/1, another little each way bet.

Good Luck All

Ayr - Hugh Taylor scores with Expose and the high draw. Hope he goes 2/2 with Imperial Legend in the next because I backed it at 16-1 last night , along with Classy Anne 22/1

huge draw advantage of the top 9 only one drawn lower then 15 (2 in 12) and that one tacked over to the high draw side

[Sorry browser won't let me edit. Just get the loading... bar across the top]. T0te and Boils are still going going 12s on Blaine out of the 26 box in tomorrow's Gpld Cup. Anyone else fancy this?

Crikey, anyone see Air Pilot? Abso hacked up.

They speak to the trainer before the race. He says:

- Only run five times and is now a five year old
- Struggles to find conditions and fitness
- Now running well, has course, distance and conditions in his favour

They go to the studio and Cunningham says "he's not giving much away there".

Tongue firmly in cheek there. Can't imagine the owners would be agreeing for the trainer to give it a run for fits and giggles when the next run could be months away.

That interview was a classic of it's kind, wonderful to watch the trainer trying to throw Emma off the scent.

Anyone have any thoughts on Odeliz in 3.55 Gowran, currently 4-1. I thought she set the standard here form wise. Just concerned about ground, (gd to firm, gd in places and seems little prospect of any significant further rain) trainer says she is really ground dependent and as this is being treated as a prep race for the Grade One EP Taylor Stakes at Woodbine on October 19th, doubt she will be given a hard time especially if they feel the ground's against her.
Form of the favourite's races doesn't seem to have worked out too well - evens seems too short to me.  Maybe I'll back both Odeliz and Regardez win only.

Anyway 2pts Odeliz 4-1 Boyles  2pts Regardez 9/2 various

Hi Simon.

A tongue in cheek reply would be that it sounds like it doesn't matter what anyone says, as you have backed it already, despite the trainer suggesting this is a warm up and the conditions not being ideal!

On the other hand the horse has been mixing It in similar races and doing ok, regardless of the ground, from what I can see in the form.

At 4-1 there isn't much room for error, but the over rider for me is that it is all about securing black type with fillies, and this looks a good opportunity in a moderate field, and Ireland is a way to go for just a run out!

In other words, I would take everything Karl Burke says with a pich of salt. It's some nice words to fall back on if she gets beat.

Ha ha, you could be right about having backed it already, think I'ld be all in though on good to soft. Thanks for your thoughts, appreciate it.
