Going to newcastle races tomorrow
Help me out please!

Seems a poor card.

Best opportunity is in the 2.15 opposing the favourite. Not having a bet myself as  the opposition doesn't seem up to that much either. I'm sure when the experts come on here, they may find some value.

Morning folks.

It's Cheltenham for me today. Other than "take a big coat", does anyone have any thoughts for the day's mudlarkery?

Handy Andy or Ballyoliver?

Dell'arca interests me. Think this could be a good horse to follow for the year.

Anay Turge/Next Sensation in the second.

I'd very much like to oppose Balthazar King in this miserable weather. Has anyone got any ideas?

This was a report posted after the preview evening, Tal.

Worth attending a) if you happen to be in the area b) if you're happy to support the IJF and c) if you believe Gordon Elliott's forthright opinions are worth listening to. Every other panellist happy to state the bleeding obvious " I think Willie Mullins / Nicky Henderson holds the key - we'll know a lot more in 2 months time".

For those that are interested here are some of Gordon's "golden nuggets":

* Spent Friday with the Pipes. Thinks Broadway Buffalo is nailed on in the first race on Friday.
* Rates No More Heroes highly & keen to see him run in Ireland on Sunday.
* Chicago Grey has had a minor wind op since hid last run but is now an OAP
* Sweet on the chances of Dancing Meadows in Saturday's bumper but only if going is not soft
* Clarcam has had a wind op and is an exciting novice chase prospect.
* Delegate will win on his second run this season.

I think Urban Hymn in the 2.05pm could be interesting with some cut in the ground.

Thanks, Marky

No worries Smiley

Did Astracad yesterday afternoon, then Linfoot put it up, and it looks like everyone else has piled in, too!

Always feels like the start of the NH season proper when we get to this meeting at Chelters

Spent a bit of time trying to pick some good EW bets and found a few longish shots that have potential IMO.

I'm having

1.50
Hollow blue sky EW
Sew on target EW

3.35
Any Currency EW (edit: hate this now that we are down to 7)

Good luck everyone

Great race to start the cheltenham meeting, thought benbens wins if he tries he rides it to open up a gap earlier instead of waiting for them to come back.
