From the web it seems he's in good nick, and they're just keeping him in for a few days observation.

Doing well, considering he's almost as old as Tikay Wink

What a race the Tingle Creek should be on Saturday.

Only 4 runners, but couldn't have asked for much more.

Altior
Un de Sceaux
Sceau Royal
Saint Calvados

Altior outpaced, but just gets there, and then sent to the King George by Hendo Smiley

I admit that I am a bit of a Sceau Royal fanboy and on paper he appears to have about a stone to find with Altior but I can't get last year's Henry VIII run out of my mind.

He was absolutely scintillating last year at Sandown coming off a fast pace and iirc in a faster time than the Tingle Creek was run.

After a bit of wheeling and dealing in the AP market I've ended up with a few quid on him @~7/1.

I've backed him e/w for the CC, as it goes.

The 13:30 at Exeter today looks interesting. I thought Remastered would be ~9/4 but he’s all the way in to 11/10. I’m sure Remastered hasn’t looked 100% straightforward so far. I’m sure Adz has a view? At anything better than 3’s, I think Samarquand is a bet.

No particular view on that, but do like one of Pipes later.

Eamon An Cnoic, ran a real eyecatcher in the Paddy Power(or whatever), travelling really well. This is a tad easier methinks and on easier ground he looks a cracking ew bet

What did they say about SB last week, Adz?

Just not as fit as expected?

i think if altior doesnt get beaten on saturday he never will over 2m again. sharper track possible tactical pace vs 3 good oppos. tempted to throw a few quid on saint calvados as this is his time of the year.

Tom thought he had him fit enough, so cant blame that, but he did when he got on debut last year.

Jumped worse than last year but stayed on at end of race.

Rog was rather pissed at whole thing as had helicopter grounded and had to rush around for plane to get him and Touchy to Newcastle in time, and to then get beat so far....not a good day.

TBH, I said before to son, just want to see him get round, never struck me as the right race for him.

Confidence dented, but not shattered.

I've a feeling that Lalor might be vulnerable today on the ground and have had a speculative punt on Pingshou who looks likely to have come on for his first run.

What a horse, and just a shame he won't go for the KG!

Would have been amazing to see if he could do a Kauto.

Surprised Sceau Royal ran today, given they know he hates that ground.

Lalor won on soft, but Johnson said he hated that ground, and they're still looking to the Arkle.

Glad my freeroll is still alive!

For anyone with a spare drunken spider, there's a cracking race at Cheltenham at 1.50 today, 15 runners, a 7/2 jolly & 7/1 bar.

https://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/cheltenham/13:55/winner

Interesting riddle for the maths boys here, as place terms vary from quarter 3 places, to one fifth 7 places, with the prices, obv, adjusted to suit the place terms. Hills are the outlier at 7 places of course.
