I saw a thing the other day about what happened to the kids in Home Alone. One competed twice for the USA in the Olympics in Judo.

Roland De Wolfe plays eye watering stakes at Les Ambassadeurs, allegedly.

Did anyone ever answer as to Compo? I always did wonder where he disappeared to. He was such a nice guy.

Roland De Wolfe plays eye watering stakes at Les Ambassadeurs, allegedly.

Did anyone ever answer as to Compo? I always did wonder where he disappeared to. He was such a nice guy.

Tikay posted this on his Diary in Sept this year:

First, Compo.

I'm not sure, but I'd have it as more like 5 years.

Do I plan to see him? In a heartbeat, if I could. I'd see him this very moment, given the chance. We never fell out, & he's still a friend, though I've not seen or spoken to him since it happened. Yeah, I was uncomfy at the spot it put me in with his family, but that was accidental, not intended. I'd forgive him anyway, I love the bloke.

I no longer have any contact details, all the ones I have are "dead" now.

Our last 'phone call WAS difficult. He rung me from Vegas one day, right out of the blue. I offered to organise a flight home (at my cost) on the next flight, & a few lads at Luton G had organised a job for him in a Betting Shop, which would have helped get him back up & running. So he could go home to his family, he had the fare home, & a job, perfect. But he said his clothes were in storage in Vegas, & he needed a grand to get them out. "How have you managed 6 weeks in Vegas without your clothes?" was the obvious question, but we both knew the answer - he needed gambling money, & I raised that bluff, hoping he'd fold. I refused to send him the cash, just an airline ticket. But he just hung up, so yeah, at the time, he might have been a bit cross with me, but we were very close, & I'm certain he knew the score.

Every time I go somewhere for poker purposes everyone asks me - "have you heard from Compo?". I find it all rather uncomfortable, even the memory.

He was a fun Member here, too. He may even be reading this. If so, face the music Dave, you are amongst friends here, folks have done a thousand times worse, & we've all been in a hole at times.

I can't think of a single soul who did not respect him 100%.
