Great updates as always.

I had Matas on my starting table and he eventually ended up busting me, plenty of interesting pots involving him.

At 500/1000 he's on the button playing roughly 70k. Folded to guy in MP who limps, button limps and Matas makes it around 5.5k from the sb (he squeezed a few times, once showing down 94o). OrigionL raiser flats the raise from MP and then the button ships it in for 45k. Back to Matas who tanks for an age and reships, guy from MP folds. Buttons shows KJs and Matas A9s, Matas holds.

An earlier hand involving his 94o was interesting. MP limps, folded to Matas who raises it up from the button, at this point blinds are probably 300/600, MP has starting stack and Matas has 80k. Folded to Matas who makes it like 3k from the button, folded back to MP who bumps it up to 9k and Matas calls. Flop 34T and MP just ships 40k allin into 20k. Matas tanks for ages and shows 94o lol, guy in MP turns over TT for the nuts.

He was to my direct right so we played a fair few pots together, he was opening most unopened pots. At 800/1600 he opens to 3.5k and I 3-bet shove 20 bigs, BB re ships over 100k and Matas calls (he has over 100k). Me AQ, BB has QQ and Matas KK, flop K-high....GG.

The young kid who busted with QQ looked very dejected and gutted bless him, he was happy to be paying the event and was very vocal about the fact this was his first "big buyin" tourney.
