Can anyone tell me how they 'solved' the Irish border problem please? All I know is, it was a huge problem... And then it wasn't.

Its unresolved

the UK Government has committed to no hard border and they parked the exact wording and how to achieve it into phase 2.

the Irish government has characterised the Phase 1 agreement as the end of hard brexit, the UK government disagrees

still plenty of scope for problems in 2018

Jeremy Corbyn has received the Seán MacBride Peace Prize from the International Peace Bureau. Whether you support or oppose his politics, there's no doubt that his long-standing contributions to the promotion of peace have helped make the world safer.

times/ YouGov Poll
Voting intention has the Tories back ahead for the first time since the June election
CON 42%(+2),
LAB 41%(nc),
LDEM 7%(nc)
Changes on last week. Poll taken Sun/Mon

perhaps more interesting, given it was recorded after the brexit phase 1 deal

Progress on Brexit looks like it’s given May a boost over Corbyn: 37% now think she’d be the best PM (up 3), ahead of Corbyn on 28%(down 2) and don’t know 35%(-1). That’s a 9 pt lead, and it was a 4pt lead last week
