Cheers mate.
I have to say I have never been a big fan of the EU from quite an early age but I've never studied it closely enough to have a strong view either way.
I've never voted in the past but this is one that I think I will make the effort for as I really feel it will make a difference. Which way I honestly don't know yet but I think it's soon enough to start figuring out where my loyalties lie.

There will be no balanced debate available from any source. Both sides will simply aim at the emotions of the electorate as happened with the Scottish referendum.

I just don't get why people genuinely want to leave. Are things really bad for an individual that leaving the EU will make it better? I can't see how our economy will be better off from leaving. However, the deal that Cameron got is absolutely laughable.

It really is funny quite how brazen Boris is being - no one thinks he is deeply pondering which position would be best for Britain, everyone thinks he's trying to work out which option is best for Boris. Brexit would be the option with short term gains (he immediately becomes the focus of everything) but boots him out into the wilderness if the vote goes against him. Campaining for In makes it difficult for him to trump Cameron and Cameron's golden boy Osbourne if In wins as he can easily be portrayed as a self-centred bandwagon jumper but if Leave wins, then he's not so tied to things that he wouldn't be able to somehow spin himself as an anti-establishment candidate (Boris gonna Boris).

Actually the most likely option is that the boss of the telegraph has asked him to release it in his Monday column, for which he gets paid a lot of money to write.

The Telegraph have actually set up a countdown clock for this. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/eureferendum/12166968/eu-referendum-david-cameron-boris-johnson-live.html

I really do despair sometimes. That first bullet point is exactly the kind of one liner that looks like it might be credible, but how many people will realise that the EUs share of global trade at 31% was only sustainable while the Chinese and other emerging economies were being hopelessly mismanaged? Its not even close to a reason to leave.
The Euro I think is a valid concern, but the agreement that Cameron came back with keeps us out of any closer fiscal union and specifically keeps the UK out of any future bailout plans for Eurozone nations. British financial institutions will still choose to expose themselves to Eurozone debt whether we are in the EU or not. They're still going to be our biggest trading partner so we're still exposed to Eurozone woes but nothing will change that, its just globalisation, nothing to do with the EU.

Don't think he'll be in the wilderness when we vote to stay in. He'll have put himself in a stronger position with the broader party and closer to being next pm..I think
