Brett Mason ‏@BrettMasonNews

Boris mobbed leaving home. "Are you up to being Prime Minister?" I ask.

"He's not fit to run a bath!" passing cyclist shouts.

I have no problem with people thinking its a mistake, my problem is with those that would right a mistake by cheating the electorate.

How about righting a mistake by taking the only option that technically fulfils the mandate - EEA with free movement of labour and all Single Market regs without any say in their formulation.  You ok with that?  It is in line with the T&C of the referendum (as was the advisory not binding status).

Come on don't keep posting at me without reading what I've replied. I didn't vote leave so have no expectations other than that we leave.

James Forsyth ‏@JGForsyth

With three, and possibly four, Brexiteers now running, real chance that the run off could be between two Remainers

Theresa May said "last time Johnson negotiated with the Germans he came back with three nearly new water cannon"

He's now dead in the water cannon, it seems

May is the latest person to use 'one nation Conservatism' as a phrase.

Can someone please explain what this actually is supposed to be, as I can't think of any party which historically divides opinon quite like they do.  Where exactly is this one nation they speak of, because I've never lived in it?

It may become my second most hated political phrase behind 'Red Tory'.

Looks like Boris is the latest to suffer the 'Tory frontrunner curse' - the last early favourite to win a Conservative leadership election was Ted Heath in 1965.

Can't see how May can hold the Tories together. She negotiates EU with free movement for trade and loses the leave or gives away God knows what to avoid free movement and remain Tories don't vote for her. Is there anyone on the leave side keen on her immigration performance so far?

Looks like a very important agreement is coming as to whether ukip do well or do scarily well. Tories trying to go GE because labour is in worse shape could backfire in a ukip rout. Politicians can't be trusted to make decisions anymore as they have already shown they have sod all idea how ppl will vote.
