If anyone is playing Ultimate FPL and wants a £10/£20 match bet then let me know. Preferably not the new £100 sharks.
I have never played it before so don't really know what to expect.
I'm in the same boat as you, never played ultimate before, up for a £10 or £20 bet, your choice.
£20 booked. Join the league so can keep an eye on your team please.
Ultimate FPL league here code
693-2342
. All welcome, just for japes.
I've joined that league too, hope that's ok. Played last year, didn't pull up any trees (annoyingly doesn't show where I finished on Gameweek History) happy to do a £10 or £20 bet against both if interested.

I'm one of the new £100 players and not looking for any action, but have joined the league above since it's just for fun. Team name The Silkworms. I played it last year and came around 200th I think, but not sure exactly as like you say season history doesn't appear. I think the reason for this might be that they explicitly allow multiple entries per player in their terms and conditions, and if you get people with multiple accounts, I guess season history linked to a certain account becomes a bit meaningless, whereas obviously it's a lot more meaningful in regular FPL where each player is only allowed one account.
After seeing the rule about multiple entries, I did consider entering more than one account this year to increase my chances of a £25k bink, but ultimately I'm sure it's still a massively -EV proposition when you compare number of entrants to overall prize money. I wish they had a bit more of a sensible prize structure, rather than £25k for first and nothing for second.
By the way, if anyone does want to join an Ultimate FPL money league, there's a $50 one over on 2p2. Has ten runners so far including myself. I've no idea how strong it is - quite a few new-ish posters so could well be filled with sharks.
Edit: just noticed a couple of you are already in it

Right, back in the room!
A real flurry of last minute larry's today
I will be tinkering with my team until about 11:30pm then golfing from 8am so anymore entries will need to post itt and hope dazzler is around to send codes or pm him.
I had wanted to close this off tonight at midnight please.
Anyone sending money after that runs the risk of missing out.
Good luck all.

A tactic a few people tried last year was to go for the monthly £1k prize my entering a new team every month and just setting it up for a four week run. I didn't even realise that was possible!

Sheer folly.

Sounds pretty risky alright.
I think Targett + S Taylor might play a couple of games @£4m but will be out soon. Hennessy might be starting as a £4m keeper. And I don't know if there is any £4.5m striker?
So it's great keeping the cost of the bench down but if none of them play, you're going to be in serious trouble sooner or later.

My first eleven are pretty nailed on.
4m defenders rotate well, striker is a dead rubber and dont need him
Keeper is a stick on starter

Junior Senior, the code you sent me for £10 game doesn't seem to be working. Might be me.

That's an interesting idea which hadn't crossed my mind. Will definitely give it a go in the big double gameweek months late in the season.
